5 points in his first game. 15 points in 6 games now?

He's almost single-handedly keeping me alive in my pool. Now if only Backstrom and Green in Washington would wake up and start producing, I'd be in decent shape.

I feel bad for COL. Missing three good players.

They will pull a Philly. Garbage this year because of injuries, pick up top in draft and come back strong next year.

Jets just got clobbered by the lowest of low Florida Panthers who filled the cage with 5 goals in the 3rd period. lol

Jets doing their sinking routine after an unexpected start.

East is so weird. A team like the Jets can ragdog the Penguins one week then stink the joint out against easily the worst club in the league. Panthers had 5 straight losses before tonight and have been outscored 24-10. They just scored half their season total in one period against the hapless Jets.

I sense a crash.

That was a terribly weak goal Kipper let in on Parenteau.

Flames in free fall mode. Kipper struggles and the team shows its true identity. Kipper was the only reason they were competitive last year but his age is catching up.

BOA will be interesting going forward with 4-5 potential #1 picks involved.

I knew that the Flames would lay an egg (against a struggling team) after playing like world beaters against the Oilers. It's like clockwork.

I see alot of Flames fans now embracing a rebuild/ team blow up, after their recent start. Its kind of funny and ironic to see but w/e, I think its a good time.

Itd be smart to pull the trigger on an Iggy deal sooner rather than later with his slow start.

The best part of it is the Flames losing to a tired Avalanche team on a road trip after having FOUR days off themselves to work on systems and teamwork.

The Flames were busy tripping over themselves and injuring each other during their extended break. Baertschi has a hip flexor and their new prized centreman Cervenka got banged up.

Never mind that the Avs were missing ROR, Downie, Landeskog and Varlomov (who I thought was pretty good against the Oilers) wasn't playing.

It was hilarious. The AV's were falling down tired in the 3rd period until they bagged the winning goal. They looked like pins just waiting to fall over and the Flames couldn't get it done.

Oilers were just all over the AV's this week. No comparison in the games.

Funny thing is they actually are getting good performances from Hudler/Cervenka/Bouwmeester/Stajan/Stempniak this year. Yet Cammalleri/Giordano/Iginla/Kiprusoff/Wideman/Bartschi are stinking it up.

Hudler got hurt as well. Nothing going right in Calgary and they got the Blackhawks on tap.

Doubt it. They won't get 1st or 2nd overall. And if they do, they're going to do something ridiculous like picking Monahan 1st overall.

I hate how they always play 200% against the Oilers. They play the Oilers like its G7 of the cup finals. Anytime Jerome is in a cold streak, he pots a hat trick against the Oilers, and Jay Bo stops giving away the pucks and looks like a #1 dmen.

Its ridiculous.

Looking at those standings, we should hopefully be able to pull away from the bottom 5 teams and make it a 10 team race for the 8 playoff spots.

PHX might be a threat if they get healthy and hot but the sooner we bury the Stars/Flames/Jackets/Avs the better.

, maybe they've got some "inside" information.

"With the 2nd Selection, in the 2013 NHL Entry draft the Flames are proud to select, from the Regina Pats, Morgan Klimchuk"

Feaster: "We think we got the best player in the draft"

No offense to Klimchuk, but lol
