Doooo it.
CBC has always been awesome when it comes to their online streaming of games. During the playoffs they provide an HD steam for every series they broadcast

I don't know if they still do, but CBC used to archive their games on their website too.

The Blackhawks have potted 3 against Quick 15 minutes into the 1st and the refs are making interference calls. I suspect we're going to see high scoring over the next month or so.

LA is just so big and slow... they're built for a playoff grind, not a regular season and not THIS regular season.

TSN archives their games for a short time as well.

I'm liking NHL.com's new look for their boxscore screen.

Schiefele is way too nervous.

... and just as I type that, he has the best chance in the period.

I think I detest the jets just because of Buffy and Kane.

Theres hardly any other time ever when I would be cheering for the Sens.

Do you hate Subban and Iginla as well?

I wasn't making that connection at all. I just don't like that the both of them are basically asshats.

I'm against asshats just to be clear..

Haha, so much this. If we end up with the amount of powerplays that have been in some of the games this year, we should be all right.

Yeah I'm just messing with ya. Kane definitely comes off like that a lot but I don't get that feeling from Buff. He's just likes to celebrate when he scores, but nothing from his on ice play leads me to think he's an asshat.

Heh, I knew you were kidding around.

I never liked Buff even from his Chicago days. Definitely the type of player that loves to try to show up the opposition. He's always taunting out there. I guess we're all built differently but this is the guy I'd punch in the face.

lol at the Buffy goal today. He just wires the puck, it magically ramps up and goes perfect top corner. He throws his hands up in the air in magnanimous celebration like He's Paul Coffey as if he knew it was going right there.

jebus the jets are horrible. Can't win at home, can never win on the road. As Harry Neale once stated while coaching: "If only we could figure out another place to play".

lol Agreed. When I watch the Jets play I'm just shocked at their record compared to their own ice play. I 100% believe if last year's Oilers faced the Jets in a 7 game series EDM would take it. The East is just such a weaker conference.

The jets are like WHA quality. Actually their WHA version was probably better.

I have no idea how anybody thinks this lineup could ever be competitive. Going to be a long long year.

Columbus and Winnipeg my bets for worst teams in the league.

But yeah, I'd love to be playing the leafs, Sens, Jets, Islanders etc half a dozen times/year. They'd all be doormats in the West.

The Jets looked like a team with a lot individuals with skill, but not much cohesion between them. They'll be better, but they definitely laid a bit of an egg today in front of their fans.

Give credit to the Sens though, they hung in there and slowly choked the Jets out as the game wore on. Karlsson's one timer on the PP to make it 3-1 was an absolute bomb of a shot, though it did slightly deflect off Clitsome's arm before going top cheese, which wasn't noticed/brought up by the pbp guys.

I really wish they'd stop having Canadian bands performing just because they're Canadian.

Simple Plan....really?

I'm sure like 97% of the viewers are very close to changing the channel or already have.

From reports on twitter, it sounds like Jacobs had a press conference and laid into the PA pretty good. What an idiot. I can't imagine many FAs will be putting Boston at the top of their list for a while.

Ok, I take it back...I might prefer Simple Plan to the 45 minutes of player introductions.
