I'd imagine very, very slowly.

(Though, after the first, there shouldn't be that much for the CPU to sort out--no addition contracts being signed, no games to simulate, etc.)

Curious to see what happens to the hawks when the regular season starts and I'm $4 mil over the cap

I'd be scared if I was a team over the cap lol. The CPU system might pull something crazy to make the roster fit under the cap, like buy out a strong player...

Waivers are off, right?

They will just send them to the minors, I'd think...

Yeah pretty much my biggest fear. Yandle is first on the contract list.

we need you guys to be honest gm's and post who you send down to the minors so we can have an opportunity to claim them. This was kinda a semi-rule last year but it was never REALLY enforced....

They problem was computers kept sending players down to the minors who weren't supposed to.

I'd rather have no waiver system than have to worry about EA's system

no waiver system = hiding salary cap and bad cap managment.... not cool

and sensei i mean when we purposely send a player down that's 1 way

Yeah, I mean I guess we'll need to check the teams near the cap to make sure they are stuffing players in the minors who shouldn't be there, but otherwise, it is fine.

It seems that problems are minimized, but not completely eliminated, but toggling waivers off for the advance, and back on during the windows. That way, humans have to make the decisions about who goes down, etc.

But this system is fine. I was basically just saying that I can't imagine anything going completely crazy for the few teams around the cap because waivers are off.

Lovely start to the Canes season... SCF rematch vs Detroit, ECF rematch vs Florida, and an ECQF rematch vs Tampa

lol, great, I somehow ended up with like $4 million cap space.

Might have been useful information earlier in the offseason.

Bluth Company debut coming up...

2-1 Shootout win....but man, either that game was laggy, or my team plays much slower than I'm used to.

Lost 4-2. Howard played questionably and I have to say I like my 3rd line so far. And of course Eriksson is already injured...
