just saw this now, thank you sir. I do practice shooting a lot. This game is a game of mistakes so I work on burying 90% of chances (since they may only be a few). Add this to a few snipers with mid 80's shooting (minimum) is a deadly combo

eh.. just for fun i decided to rank the divisions...

Good

1 - Southeast

All teams can make the playoffs and the past two Stanley Cup champions are from this division, which gives them the edge.

Best Finish: Stanley Cup Champions x2 (Winnipeg, Carolina)
Playoff Appearances: 8

2 - Central

If Columbus could even come close to making the playoffs (senseiiiiiii), this would be the best division.

Best Finish: Detroit - Stanley Cup Finals x2
-Presidents Trophy 2014 (Detroit)
Playoff Appearances: 5

3 - Northwest

Much like the Central, just one team away from an elite division.

Best Finish: Vancouver/Edmonton Western Conference Semi-Finals
Playoff Appearances: 7

Bad

4 - Atlantic

Not much to say, we'll see how the division lines up with new rangers gm Jack.

Best Finish: Rangers - Eastern Conference Semi-Finals
Playoff Appearances: 4

Ugly

5 - Northeast

Until beaten, this is Buffalo's division

Best Finish: Buffalo - Eastern Conference Finals
-Presidents Trophy 2013 (Buffalo)
Playoff Appearances: 4

6 - Pacific

Much like the Northeast, this is Dallas' Division. #3 seed both seasons by Dallas, playoff appearances in 2013 from Phoenix and LA.

Best Finish: Dallas - Western Conference Finals
Playoff Appearances: 4

Southeast beating the central in the finals two years in a row doesn't help your case.

LMAO, yeah right.

Southeast has both cup winners in Bluth history.

Florida who is built for the playoffs who is also going to become increasingly harder to beat the better Markstrom gets and with some decent players around him.

TB who consistently makes the playoffs and held the eventual cup winner Carolina to some close games.

Washington (not gonna float my own boat here) but I'm a team I think that is working to get better, and I took out the #2 seed in 6 games and at least took Florida (who took the eventual cup winners to game 7) to game 7, so that has to count for something!

The southeast gets no respect. Is it really gonna take 3 straight cups to get some respect from you eastern conference defensive prodigies? lol

If performance in past leagues has any predictive power, I should be right in the hunt...for the first overall pick.

Trapping is only effective when you have a Markstrom lol.

I thought we banned the tie-up + breakaway?

I don't think that, depending on how the opponent lines up for the draw, the tie-up + drop to the defenseman is illegitimate.

Oddly enough, I always play really well against Florida (considering they're a top team). I think in the games we played last year, I won 1-0 in a shootout, he won 2-1, I won 5-2, and I won 3-2. Just one of those weird things I guess, especially since I can't seem to keep a game with the Islanders within 3 goals.

I definitely need some clarification as to what face offs everyone is talking about.

I often do the stick lift/win it back to the dman. It's not always the most effective since its a slow face off win.

I can't win a game for the life of me. I've played 3 tremendous games tonight so far, with great play from both sides. I lost my 1st game to SJ 3-2 in a SO. Nothing wrong with that loss but I have a problem with my loss to BOS and NYR. In the BOS game it went to OT and i'd say the GWG was both my fault and Howard's fault. It was my fault because I never picked up the puck when I should have, and Howard's fault for letting in a soft 5-hole goal. That was a piss off, but the NYR's game gets even worse. Howard let's in a goal my grandma could have saved and he leads it 1-0, Kikuts has a glorious chance to make it 1-1 but some how Lundqvist makes an impossible save. I eventually brought it back to 3-2, but i honestly couldn't do anything in the finaly minute of the game. I'm pissed about the losses but im pleased with my play so far this season. It helps when the monster known as John Scott is able to produce points lol

Southeast gets no respect? You were just ranked first in all the divisions.
