when I saw that you posted, I predicted exactly what your post is going to say
real Knicks fans are not crowning anything. all the bandwagoners are the ones crowning themselves.
and chances are they won't keep up the hot shooting. but who knows? they have so many guys that can hit the 3 at any given time. especially when Shumpert is back. the thing with this Knicks team is they play D. they are in the top 10 in points allowed per game.
You deserve an award I guess.
And yeah, the bandwagoners are primarily the ones I'm referring to. Problem is 90% of the fan base is bandwagoners. No one in this area talked Knicks basketball for years in between Ewing's retirement until about Spring of 2010 when signing Lebron was a real possibility. That's when all the fans came out of hibernation, trying to show their Knicks colors to prevent being labeled a bandwagoner when they signed Lebron. Soon enough, Lebron became Amare, then the Melo trade, and now you have (most of) the Knicks fans labeling this team a champion despite having ONE playoff win in 12 years. The Nets have been the league's poster child for futility the last decade or so and even they have won a postseason series more recently than the Knicks.
As for Shumpert, he's coming off an ACL injury. If he even comes back this season, it's going to be in a very minor role, IMO. Knee injuries are more serious in basketball than any other sport because of the constant stop and go. I personally can't see him (or Derrick Rose) playing at a high level until the beginning of next season at the earliest.
Can anybody please kindly let me know maybe what channels I can watch the NBA on? I mean like national broadcasts, because I know TBS, and TNT air them. Any specific nights of the week? I got no local team in the Tampa Bay area. I might get the Magic on Sun Sports or something. Just need to watch something. My buddy has the NBA package, but I don't feel like driving to his house to watch it every night as much as he owes me for letting him come over to watch my center ice every night!
8 of the Nets next 11 games are part of back-to-backs, on top of the 5 back-to-backs they've already played. That's over 50% of their first 34 games. NBA scheduling at its finest.
I get the Heat on Sun Sports, and the Magic. I really can't stand anything about the Heat, and Lebron though. I just don't like his attitude. I'm willing to watch anything though just casually.
