Any guitar players here?

What's your setup, or which guitars do you currently own? Right now I have:

Gibson SG Standard (cherry)
Warmoth Telecaster (quilted maple)
MIM Fender Telecaster (sunburst)

Trying to sell the SG or swap it for a really nice tube amp, current amp setup is a real disappointment, cheap Chinese VOX I'm working with just doesn't get it done, so I'm looking for a recommendation from one of my fellow HF'ers who are axemen/women.

Yeah, pedals are cool, I'd definitely like to get a couple once I get a better amp. The one I'm using right now has some cheesy built-in effects. I was looking at a used Blues Jr. not too long ago, but the price hasn't really matched up to what I want to pay yet. My VOX belongs at the bottom of an anchor, can't wait to get rid of it and get something with a cleaner tone.

Gibson ES 137 Classic (Silverburst)
Godin Freeway Classic (Blueburst)
Fender Strat (American, Off-white)

I have them running through a Valve King 112.

I have an Ibanez GSR200 Bass Guitar.

Love it, super easy to play and sounds great.

I got Ibanez RG370 and RG470 with EMG 81 pickups. Plugged to Peavey 6505 and 412 cab.

I prefer to use $500+ guitar and way better amp.

I've got a Fender American Strat. For amps, I've got a 70's Fender silverface Bassman stack and a Mesa Boogie Lonestar special, neither of which I can use at the moment. The Fender needs work done on the head and the Mesa needs a set of matched tubes that I've been too lazy to buy and put in.

As far as amp suggestions go, I would recommend the Fender Deluxe Reverb. They are fairly cheap by tube amp standards, have great cleans, an excellent built in reverb unit and a lot of headroom. If you couple it with a few high quality pedals, you will have a very versatile sound set up without spending, say, $3k+ on a boutique amp.

Gibson Explorer - black (American)
Fender Strat player deluxe edition - sunburst (Mexican)
Ibanez RG370DX - very dark purple
Tanglewood Acoustic
A dozen pedals

My weak point is definitely my crate amp. I want to replace it but I don't know with what yet. I don't play shows so I want something relative small but with a nice sound.

Yeah, this is my dilemma as well. Finding a nice-sounding amp that is also (reasonably) portable is a major challenge.

I've got 2 Gibson Les Pauls. One studio, red that has EMG's. One that has Semour Duncan P-rails (By far the most well rounded guitar I own). Also have a Jackson that is on pieces on my desk. Play it through a Peavy 112. Good Lord do I ever need a tube amp.

Black Gibson Explorer with custom khaki powder coated diamondplate pickguard.
Sunburst Epiphone Les Paul
Acrylic B.C. Rich Mockingbird
Ibanez Destroyer II
Ovation Tangent
Ovation Celebrity
Washburn 12 string acoustic
the same Ibanez GSR200 Bass lirit posted above (actually bought that as a gift for my brother, but he gave up on it after a few months and told me to keep it)
and several other cheaper acoustics that aren't worth pointing out here.

I've sold off/given away most of my collection over the last few years, and my amp (Peavy Bandit 112) just died, so I have nothing to play the electrics on at the moment (well, other than through my effects pedal)

A lot of stuff, so I'll spare you the list.

My main rig's a Telecaster/Jaguar and an older 2 channel Mesa Dual Rec. Occasionally break out my Ampeg V-4, but I try to baby it.
'67 Ampeg Gemini is my "living room" amp.

For the Canadian guys (O.P especially) I played an older Traynor Mark III for a long time, and it's a real gem of an amp. One of the best clean tones I've ever heard and takes pedals pretty well. I know they're more common in Canada, but here in the States you can usually find them in the $300 dollar range. Incredible amp for the money, IMO.

A guy I jam with keeps telling me to ditch my VOX for a Traynor too. Thinking I may have to take that advice now that I have corroboration. I've tried to swap my SG for a tube amp, but no luck so far, Vancouver seems to be a Paul town. What kind of a Telecaster do you use?

Not real serious about it so I don't spend much. Just like to have something around to mess with from time to time.

Yay, another one of these. I get to ***** out my guits again.

I play mostly through my Vox AC30CC2X, but I also kill my ears with a Fender '57 Twin from time to time.

This is my latest.. I sold my '52 RI Fender Telecaster to grab it.

Gibson LP Classic

Gretsch Country Gentleman & Rickenbacker 330/12

I put this Strat together. It's got some Lindy Fralin Vintage Hots in her.

Gretsch Duo Jet.. I touched this and the next photo up. Was experimenting with some apps.

Danelectro 59 DC (Jimmy Page model), Epiphone Casino, and an Epiphone EJ-160E

On the wall is the '52 Tele I sold, and a Gibson SG I still own. And a Ludwig kit.

Hofner Bass - The cheap Chinese one.. But it still rocks.

A cheap Korean Squire, with upgraded pickups and a Bigsby. For sure it's the cheapest piece of gear I've got, but there's just something about it the feels/sounds right to me? Dunno.

Too bad I don't still have the Traynor, I'd have made a trade offer on the SG.

Doesn't everyone play guitar??

Anyway here is what I current use:

PRS SE 24 Custom
I use a Vox 30 watt tube amp at home
I also use a Toneport for recording with my computer

Pedals:
Digitech EX7 (This thing seriously rocks if you have the time to mess around with it!)
Line 6 EchoPark Delay

Mostly I just use the toneport to play though. Lots of Amp models and effects with Gearbox.

I think my next purchase will be a Roland GR 55GK.

Edit: Oh yea, I use an Ebow too!
