went with richards here cant imagine him not being on the team, heart and soul player, returning player, 4th line center or 3rd on team canada , sure there's guys better but he should be a lock imo.
Hey Oiler fans maybe we should just vote for Eberle since basically everyone else is convinced that he's better than Hall
Eberle seems better suited for the big stage...who's already put up ppg twice on the Sr. National stage.. but no we vote Eberle obviously because he hate Hall.
TBH I'd have Eberle over Hall because he's more versatile, a playmaking winger who can finish nicely, and is proven on the national stage. His game would sit very nice next to Crosby, Giroux or Stamkos on the right side. Not sure how Hall will develop in the next year, but the last time I saw him play for Canada he was very selfish with puck possession in crunch time.
That being said, it's very possible Hall develops to be almost irresistible for Canada, but then again they did pass on Sidney Crosby 2006 and Steven Stamkos 2010 both of whom were top-2 in Canadian scorers for those Olympic years.
As for the poll, I say finish the center depth and go with Bergeron or Richards for that 4th line, or get Richards and put him on Toews wing again, that was a dominant line in 2010.
Just curious, not sure if this has been addressed before, but are we voting for BPA? Because I imagine some players will be left out for worse players due to chemistry or other intangibles.

lol.
Eberle has a unsustainable shooting percentage. He will never be better than he is now. Hall is much better ainec.

Good argument, might have wanted to tell him that when he was 16 though, kid's been shooting like that his whole career. But hey, I guess when you can't think of anything else, just knock on the kid for being a good shooter. Im sure even Oiler fans are sick of hearing that one.
I think that, by the time 2014 rolls around, Taylor Hall will be a force. And he's got major wheels, which will definitely help on international ice.
I thought so too but then remembered that the Olympics are just next feb! Which doesn't leave much time for the youngsters to develop given this lockout and all, if this season ever starts they pretty much only have half of this year and the first 2-3 months of next season to make a serious impression.
Hall controls play as evident in his significantly better Corsi ratings. Defenders back up scared ****less of him skating down the wing for loose pucks. Eberle simply is a notch below Hall in terms of overall play. He is a better natural goal scorer, that's it.

and his hockey IQ is way higher then Hall's.
You honestly expect him to sustain an 19% shooting percentage?
