SWE getting a bit arrogant, RUS probably should've scored one. To be fair though, Sidorov with some serious robbery a couple of times to keep the score down.

Seems like the hockey gods want this game to be close. SWE hits the post, RUS score twice without even shooting the puck.

And now Lindblom scores 4-2, not a hard shot but Sidorov was screened.

Lindblom impresses me as much as Anton Karlsson in this tournament.

Nylander just keeps making amazing passes that his teammates can't convert

Swedish forwards look good, but I'm not overly impressed by the defensemen. Lagesson look interresting, though.

Edit: I really like Muzito Bagenda. Modo has a gem there. And Nylander/Lindblom will be stars one day.

In Sandström's defense he's not getting a lot of help around the crease, on the other hand he doesn't look comfortable at all with traffic. I think Eriksson will start in the semis.

Nikolishin should be suspended from the tournament if he falls one more time, that's embarrassing to the game of Hockey, what a snob.

Swedes look good, our goalie looks lost at times.

Yeah, A. Karlsson and Lindblom are the two biggest standouts for me (except Nylander).

Really enjoy being able to watch this in addition to the WJC, makes for a great christmas holiday.

Russia pulls within one, sweet move. Svechnikov.

This game reminds me a ton of SWE-FIN in the WJC. We'll see how it ends.

The swedish d-men seems a bit lethargic. I've seen Sandström a couple of times in the J18, and he's usually far better than he is tonight.

Edit: Two (2) russians get to stand right in front of Sandström in the PP, and the swedish d-men do nothing.

It's hard to say if Sweden stopped playing hard after going up 3-0 and being into the semis, or if Russia significantly upped their game. Russia stopped making defensive mistakes, at least.

Nylander had kind of a poor game but still pulled off two highlight reel plays. His off days are better than most others..

I think this Team Ontario is the best team I've seen in my few years of watching this tournament.
They are just ridiculous and even against the US they dominated the majority of play.

It's just scary to think how good they would have been with the injured Liam Herbst in the pipes instead of a Jr. B goalie and an OHL backup.

3rd time i've seen this guy play this year and 3rd time i've really liked him, interesting player in the making.

mmh, that was a bad fall into the boards for Nylander, hopefully his shoulder is fine.

btw, how is Rasmus Andersson not on the team? too good already?
