Engvall has been impressive the games I've watched. He's huge too.

Quebec needs to improve on its bad starts of games tomorrow. Last night shots were 7-0 ON after 8 minutes (finished 41-31 ON) and similar Swedish domination tonight in the first 5-7 minutes.

I'm surprised that the team is still doing well without Eichel so far. He creates so much of their offense. It's nice to see Milano and Wilkie stepping it up without him so far. I'm not sure they can win a shootout without their best player but if Birdsall can stay strong in net as he has been so far then they'll have a chance to take it.

Sometimes losing a big-time player can get the rest of the lineup going. Milano, Tuch and the MacInnis-Hitchcock combo really stepped it up vs Slovakia. Wilkie so far tonight.

They were good in the first, certainly much sharper than they were against the Slovaks. Milano and Wilkie really need to be the ones to carry things now and they're doing so thus far. I actually like how MacInnis has played the last few games too.

I think Nylander could shoot more often.

Can't believe ontario.. I got tickets for the gold medal game, which is 4 hours from my place, hoping I would see Mcdavid for the first time live, also to get a look at ho-sang, ekblad, etc..

they have some solid depth at offense, losing Eichel is something that no country can replace, but I think these kids have banned together and will try their best to fight through this

I'd assume head related as that's what the Quebec player targeted.

So far in the tournament Sweden hasn't matched the top guys that hard. Will be interesting to see how much Nylander plays if this stays tight.

Oskar Lindblom always seems to be in the right place. Hockeysmarts.
