Anyone see American Horror last night? Ian McShane as a deranged Santa was classic. It reminded me of how much I still miss Deadwood. And no Lou, that's not a reference to your latest sub par performance with the Mrs...

No. But it does make you realize that guys like Chara would benefit from no touch icing. They burn up a lot of gas chasing pucks down. It would mean your top pairing staying on the ice more.

Late last night they replayed the 2010 playoffs. I couldn't turn it off. My god was that horrible. The ONLY, and I mean ONLY thing, that could have made up for that was coming back and winning the Cup in 2011. Including convincingly sweeping the flyers. And, they did.

Very nervous for Tuukka. He was getting absolutely owned from the circles in, upstairs, on either side. Badly, without so much as a twitch. Scary. I'm sorry I even watched it again.

Saw it. Great Show. I really liked Season 1, but I think Season 2 is better.

I like watching junior, but it's the only live hockey I can really get around here. The pace is definitely a lot slower than NHL or even AHL.

We were late to the party regarding season one and by the time we set out to see it, the first 4 episodes were not available on demand on my cable. We still want to go back and check it out, since we've enjoyed this season so much.

Clearly...

If you're looking for a new show to watch, Justified starts back up on January 8th. Great show if you haven't seen it before.

That had to be awesome!!! My best 'celebrity' moment was being on the same plane with Ted Kennedy on the shuttle from New York to Boston. I was star-struck.

Boardwalk Empire's last two episodes of the most recent season were the best two ever for that show. Capone is great.

Also, can't wait for Justified either. Might be my favorite one going, always a toss-up between that and Sons of Anarchy.

I was buying flowers to photograph. I saw him and there was this pause before I realized who it was.....

a lot of the guys live in my area. I use to see Axellson there a lot.
Ray Bourque is a familiar face around these parts.

Still cool. I never approach them though. I get too nervous.

What flowers did you get?

My best hockey moment was while in 'Canes country. I was outside a Barnes and Noble that had a Starbucks inside it. Out walks Martin Gelinas, who is still one of my favorite players EVER. Suddenly, there wasn't enough oxygen in the air.

It's kinda funny to see famous people out of their element. Sorta makes them like the rest of us mortals.

you will find out soon

I met Bergeron a few times.....I just....honestly...I'm not a pink hat.

but I just became a blithering idiot. He is the nicest kid you will ever meet.

that was second only to meeting Rolston, who just reduced me to a puddle. All I could say was "hey Rolly." and he quietly said..."hey."

sigh.....

edit: Gelinas=hot

Absolutely. Once you get past the little rascals musical score, it's not a bad show.

Yeah, they cast Capone perfectly. Harrow's rampage was epic.

You eat out much less. Plus learn to cook, which isn't a strength of mine, or my wife. Ramsay is hilarious at chewing people out.
