Oh and for any metal/music fans, today is the 8th anniversary of Dimebag Darrell getting murdered on stage. Crazy how time flies.

Very reasonable. Color can start at $50 in some places. It was $55 for a cut and blow dry and I gave her a $10 tip. Feels good to get a ill pampering eh?

Listening to nothing but Pantera all weekend. So sad, hell of a talent and from all of the stories I have heard or read, great person too.

I had a bad job in my early 20's causing quite a bit of hair to end up on the shower drain - it grew back white, not gray, white. Been that way every since. Now nearly all white - a few dark hairs here and there.

Never considered coloring it - too much upkeep and it grows so fast.

A few days ago it happened again. I was called & told not to come into work. This next schedule I only have 4 hours and I have a lot of on call shifts.

IDK what it is.

I looked at other peoples schedules and people have between 4-12 hours. Others have between 25-35 hours.

Talked to my GM and he said most of it is because of people availabilities, told him I put a new one in and he said takes 2 weeks.

He also said how ur hours also depend on how good u are at folding and selling clothes. I mean **** I am still learning the folding cuz it seems like all these different shirts have different folds and I can't exactly help customers if alot of my hours are during closing hours.

He also said next **** ask a manager to evaluate me during it.

Like the job and the company just have a feeling I will be axed after the holidays.......

2 things--

last year at this time because my life hit the fan, I started losing my hair and it started breaking. my hairdesser was a bit petrified at what to do...happy to report it has grown back where I lost it, much more healthy. (It helps if you dont stop eating)

I tried growing it out and not coloring it a few years ago.... it was awful....my hair was flat and i looked ashen and washed out. (I tried, i swear).

white sounds cool....and pretty. someday you will show us?

That sucks. I remember when it happened being like "**** there goes any metal concert I'll ever go to" since I find new stuff like lamb of god corny. I'll bump a cemetery gates for that.

I wonder what Phil is like these days he was already a complete freakin mess 8 years ago (any why there wasn't any Pantera) surprising he hasn't died by now.

If anybody gets a chance read Dupes' piece in today's Globe on Ron Murphy.

Sad, but good read.

I cut my hair really short. Makes it easier to not see all the grey that's coming in...

Sad.

I still can't believe EVH put his yellow and black charvel from VHII in the casket. Classy move for a guy not exactly known for class.

Oh and these days Phil is still I guess u can say Phil. Vinnie Paul and his family still hate him. It's sad.

Dimebag's death was sad. Thinking about it on the 25th I saw the Faceless and a few other bands and the venue only had 1 security guard.

I'm at the P-Bruins game. We're in the second row. The teams are warming up, and there are three high school girls in front of me wearing Flyers jerseys, and I swear they're licking the glass.
