Wow. That was one of the worst PP's I've ever seen in my career. And I'm an Edmonton Oiler fan.

Shorthanded goal for the Aeros.
That was some terribly sloppy play there.

Sit the 1st unit next PP chance. Ebs, Hall, and Nuge made a trio of pathetic entry attempts and giveaways. That was horribad.

The last powerplay looked like a great team effort. This powerplay looks like a bunch of poor individual efforts.

At least Arcobello got it right back.
Still, that was a concerning shift from the young Oilers guys. Hope they bounce back next shift :v

I really like Arcobello. Also the kids have to dump the puck in.

I think it's time for a new PP scheme. The Barons just give up way too many shorthanded 2 on 1s with just one D man up top.

i totally agree. even a bad RNH is still pretty good but he does seem sluggish out there. his passes are slow and missing alot

They're also 2 for 3 and have one of the best PPs in the league.

Nice hustle by MPS getting back to take away the potential 2 on 1.
Way too many odd man breaks being given up by the Barons ... and its not just tonight.

Kids had a bad shift, it's not a big deal. And I don't think Hopkins has been that bad, he went through stretches last year where he was pretty quiet too, but he still gets his offense.

2/3 today after missing about 12 in a row.
They already have one SH goal and could easily have gotten another.

His cross ice pass to Eberle on the first PP was amazing. Eberle took it on his backhand because his head was in the clouds.
Of course Eberle sniped one seconds later so all is good.

Regardless of the odd SH goal their power play is the furthest thing from a problem.

AHL live wont load for me at all... Is anyone else having issues?
I hit login and it just sits there and does nothing. I've made about 15 attempts to log in, it actually worked once but then the OKC game wasn't available... This is frustrating.

This game it is.
They're constantly giving up odd man rushes the other way. They should be dominating the other team on the PP rather than trading chances. At the very least they need to be more careful with their entries and pay more attention when they pass it back to the blue line. If the pass is off at all it's a 2 on 1 the other way.

i think the pp is fine. we just need to accept the fact that we have a inexperienced Defense core with the older players being the worst. these things are bound to happen. i usually feel safer when Danis is in net

I have the same issue. Luckily there is a stream.

It's comical that they charge such insanely high prices when their product is such bad quality.
Amazing that a business can succeed like this.
problem is I just got home from work and want to watch the game from the start but it looks like it's gonna have to wait until tomorrow (or you know, next week depending on when AHL live gets their **** together)
