See, I don't think Suh is a "problem child" per se, I think if his first pro head coach had been a no nonsense guy with an eye for discipline and mentoring young players he would have never become the sideshow he is today.
Now Titus Young is just a nutcase, but the thing is that the Lions under Schwartz have perpetuated a problem by allowing Young to poison the team atmosphere for so long and even now there are some people who suspect Schwartz may keep him around.

Rod Marinelli would have been perfect guy to coach Suh and help him develop at DT
I understand he was not gonna keep his job at 0-16 year but he is very good coach and has been praised by every young DT who has played for him here in Chicago for his teaching. Not to mention vets like Peppers/Idonije who speak very highly of him as well as many former NFL players (Sapp , etc)
