Hit to the head (elbow) of Bill Sweatt, looks concussed. No penalty either. This is getting downright ridiculous. Sweatt needs help getting off the ice.

That was embarrasing. **** AHL refs. This will be at least a 5 game suspension when its reviewed.

Swett got a very late hit and elbow to the head - no call. Sweatt is out with an obvious head injury.

Kassian looks pissed off. Just threw a big hit on a forecheck.

Haydar will NOT take a hit to make the play. Ever. So tired of watching him play.

Erie are pushing and Wolves are up only by a goal, I don't think he'll be doing anything because Arniel would have his head if he took a penalty.

PP coming up.

Whoever it was, I hope Kassian destroys him.

WTF is Haydar doing on this PP. 4 players playing well and then you have Haydar... The sad thing about Haydar is that he doesn't even have high hockey IQ, he's just a very skilled player. That's all he has going for him and it's clearly not enough with the talent level this year.

^ What are the PP units? Was Arniel mixing it up again?

Kassian - Ebbett - Sterling
Matheson - Tanev

Haydar - Schroeder - Archibald
Hunt - Connauton

Not positive on the D pairings, but the forwards are accurate.

The PP has actually been really good today, just Haydar that's been brutal. Arniel has made some good adjustments.

Also, Re: PP they're doing the Canuck drop pass and it's working well for them so far. Zone entries have been so much smoother than in the past.

Thanks. Gordon might make a better choice instead of Haydar. At least he can score goals and is willing to grind it out along the boards to get the puck.

Anyone would be a better choice over Haydar. I don't understand what he has on Arniel to continue getting this ice-time.

That's been the case on multiple occasions this year.

Wolves win. Very good game for Climie, definitely made some game-saving stops.

With the schedule as it is (2 games a week at most) and the way Climie is playing (.936Sv% in 6 games in December)? Probably never.

Probably, when you look at the standings too - they're right around the cutoff mark. Perhaps Arniel won't be so willing to give him a shot in net until they're back in a better playoff position.

No, I have AHL Live. I'd have watched the game if I wasn't out doing errands.

I finished scrubbing through the game just now. Good game. My cousin scored and my favourite prospects picked up some points.

Man that was ugly - real dirty game. Ref was unbelievably incompetent.

Sweatt likely out for awhile and I guess, or at least hope, there will be a suspension out of that.

Haydar got rag-dolled on his final shift and I suppose that explains why he avoids contact.

Schroeder played well but I stick with my point that he needs to score or set up goals better. Had a shot at the open net at the end but in a difficult spot to convert it. But you want to see him getting more offense. Schroeder did show some excellent speed and puck control in the game and maybe with better wingers more happens.

Archibald fell off a bit tonight. Strong start but not as good around the net and not as energetic along the boards as the game went on. Missed a wide open chance in the third. Obviously there are going to good and not so good efforts here. Still not looking out of place.

Climie was outstanding and might be a viable alternative for the Canucks. Guy competes so hard and really challenges the shooter. Had to be first star although often these things are poorly picked in the AHL.

Kassian played very well and did a good job in the last few minutes of play. Also like Ebbett and Miller in this game.

Joslin with another strong effort. Maybe the best Wolve defenseman in this game although have to give some credit to Matheson as well. Connauton competed hard but his offense is just not there right now.

Power play, per usual stank. Also, this team needs to look for some toughness on the 4th line. Player like Freisen is not going to provide enough of this
