So he drives to the practice facility to thank his coach and GM by killing himself infront of them? Okay. Obviously thoughts are with everyone involved in this mess.
As for pushing the game back, no chance. It sounds crass, but the last thing the League will want to do is draw any more attention to this than there will already be. Push the game back a few days and it becomes a national spectacle instead of the byline that it will be tomorrow.

The game will get a minute of silence, but that'll be all.
Feel bad for all involved. Hopefully they can save the girlfriend.

What a loser. Why couldn't he just off himself instead of trying to kill someone else?
As for the game, of course it should be played. Won't be easy but life goes on.

I doubt anyone will get fired, but it is kinda pointless.

Terrible story. Sympathies go out to the victims, families, and the Chiefs organization.

Just heard was out working out off the net. The game is meaningless except for the draft. Cancel the game, give the teams a tie. The training facility is a crime scene and this is not a time for games.
This also NOT a good time for the GM and coach. The man killed himself in front of them. Are you going to work after a co-worker kills himself in front of you?

I personally wouldn't cancel it. Just push it back to Monday or Tuesday if needed.

What is postponing one day going to solve? Anyone affected by this is probably better off playing sooner, when the shock is still inset.

Well Vince didn't know it was a murder/suicide at the time of RAW which is why they went and did a memorial show that night. It wasn't until the coming days that all the details came out and Chris Benoit was never mentioned again by the company.

I wonder if he had a history of concussions, or other significant injuries, that required the use of painkillers, that may have contributed to an altered mental state.
Messed situation otherwise.
