Leave Stanley Cup ring blank if season cancelled?

Would you support leaving the 2012-13 space on the Stanley Cup blank if the entire season is cancelled and the trophy is not awarded?

Should have an apology letter to the fans signed by Bettman and Fehr.

The league with the greatest trophy also happens to be the most embarrassing league of the major 4

Only would the NHL manage to **** it up - I guess we can credit their consistency on that

Award the Stanley Cup to the "Clown College". At least then we'll still see some NHL players and owners raise it over their head.

Can't the cup be contested by an amateur team if the NHL isn't playing? They wanted to do that last lockout but it went to court and I thought the court decided it could be, but it was too late for that season.

Just what I heard, anyways.

i thought it was the other way around, the court decided that even if it wasn't the purpose (back 100 years ago) for the cup being donated. but that it since has changed the rules to who can win the cup now, and basically it has become nhl's property.

How embarrassing that my team (and obviously others) has to share their first stanley cup engraving on a ring that will have "season not played" on there twice.

I remember after the lockout the court ruled that they have to let another league use it
