Semin has been playing well since being benched/scratched. I agree he was playing incredibly lazy but i think
he has turned it around. I hope they have the Semin Dats Ovi line from the WC for Sochi. If everyone is playing to there capabilities that is. Once him and ovi came that line was unstoppable. Datsyuk is perfect for them. You can't leave a talent like Semin off the roster for Olympics. He needs to earn it tho.....

Why not just have Radulov play right wing, and have Ovechkin on that line... Or right wing, whatever floats Bills boat.

Ovechkin scored more goals then Kovalchuk in a defensive system so far. Makes no sense when we already know Datsyuk + Ovechkin worked during WC.

Oh well, lets see what Zherdev can do with Ovechkin, Tereschenko is crafty, but no finish.

He's had an injury. He's not 100% yet and just can't get a chance to show his qualitites in the KHL. If the lockout lasts I can see hiim get traded before the deadline to one of contending teams.

If so, choosing Finland for Sunday's game could be some kind of mark of respect, which could be considered as the main game of the tournament as it usually decides the final placements of the tournament and people don't usually have much else to do on Sundays, but to watch TV/EHT or maybe Russia realized that Finland is sending worse teams to this tournament like last year and want to finish the tournament in a nice fashion (win).
I think the scedule for EHT is made in advance for the whole year so that every team get's the same amount of sunday games.

Russia scored on a bs PP, then another one. Those teams of Marts have no spirit.

Haha, Lindback has to be sharp as his defenceman almost knocks it into his own net.

Bit of a surprise move on the 3rd goal but I'm not a huge fan of letting in the first and third. Lindback could've had one or both.

..and now 4-1.
