Why do we need to keep Kadri? I like him and all but our biggest need is Center and our depth on the wings is pretty deep. Also Reinhart would fit much more in a Carlye system than Kadri.

Kadri is one of the most natural talented player in the Leafs system, we drafted him very high, and we take our time to develop him well. We need to keep him, one of the most important piece that we need to keep, IMO.
I can't see kenny ryan holding any value to us I like Colborne but there's really no reason for us to give up on 2 forward prospects to get one back.
I still think if the Leafs and Flames were to do a swap it would make more sense:

Leafs get a hometown guy who should step right into the nhl at any forward position and would do great with a guy like Colbourne. He has size, hands, good sense. Flames take the #4 defensive prospect for the leafs who would probably be the #2 d-prospect in our system, a ways from the NHL but could potentially be a solid 2nd pairing guy.
I would probably do this. Blacker is a good prospect, but already sits behind Gardiner and Holzer on the depth chart, and will soon likely be passed by Reilly, Percy & Finn.

I like this idea as well actually. Wing is one of our stronger spots, and D one of our weakest. They seem like comparable players in upside who both would have a stronger opportunity if a swap was made, of making an NHL roster.
Lol, we are all patient with Kadri and Reimer but Colborne? Shun the non beleafer! (see what I did there? ) Flames have a shallow prospect pool and will not give up Reinhart and I certainly do not blame them.
Would Calgary do any Leaf prospect for Gaudreau save for Rielly?
Not a chance, he looked as skilled if not more skilled than Sven in the summer camp and is playing amazingly well at BC he is worth keeping and seeing what happens.

I don't think so.
I don't think Horak and Reinhart are going to be stars, but both have very good potential - Horak is pretty much already an NHLer - just not a top-6 guy.
Ferland also has some upside as a tough guy with some scoring ability (albeit in junior only so far). I'm not even sure I'd want to part with him for Colborne.
Colborne may still work out, but why would the Flames take the chance? They're better off taking a chance on their own guys.
