Just as a follow up to the Lions defense, they're the 27th highest scoring fantasy defense and have averaged 3 points per game over the last 5 weeks. They average 4.5 points on the season and have scored negative points more often than double digit points.

I get it's the Cardinals, but what good is playing the matchup if the player/defense your starting sucks just as bad as the opposition?

I think all of us do. The play calling is baffling, and he does not use the weapons we have properly.

I need a D. What do you recommend then? Settling for the 49ers is alright but the risk there is absurd.

The Cardinals are absolutely putrid on offense. Lindley is AWFUL.

I don't care how good Seattle's defense is. Zero points and EIGHT turnovers.

Don't believe me? Rotoworld called the Lions' D the #1 plug-and-play option this week and a top-five defense overall for the week. We're talking about fantasy football experts.

Also, I'm having a hell of a time deciding between Kaepernick @ NE and Dalton @ PHI.

I thought it was hilarious that Arizona was shut out, and I still do. That is a drubbing, and no mistake.

If they're available, St. Louis D vs Minnesota. In the league I'm in, they've put up 26, 18, and 13 points over the last 3 weeks.

Tennessee D vs the Jets. That D has averaged 12 points per week over the last 4 games. That includes a goose egg vs. the Texans. Tennessee's D has been solid against mediocre/bad offenses. The Jets fit that description.

If not, Arizona D vs Detroit is a good choice if you really don't want to play San Fran. They got housed last week so they're going to be playing for redemption. They've likely had more interceptions AND fumble recoveries than any other D possibly available. Usually good for 2-3 sacks a game. Averaging about 9 points over the last 4 weeks. Averaged 12 points over the 3 games prior to last weeks destruction.

All 3 teams are home.

I truly believe everyone is getting overwhelmed over this anomaly game last week. Yes, defenses have scored a lot vs the Cardinals lately but of the last 6 opponents, 5 are in the top half of the league among fantasy rankings. The lone exception was Atlanta, ranked 1 spot shy of the halfway mark. The Lions D is 28th! Arizona's offense is bad, but the Lions defense is terrible too.

I do not buy into the hype surrounding the pick up. I'm all for playing matchups, and any D playing Arizona is appealing, but Detroit's defense is as laughable as the Cardinals offense.

ESPN's Rob Parker calls RGIII's blackness into question because he has a white fiancé and is Republican.

What an azzhat. Will be interesting to see what ESPN does with this. If a white person did something like this, it's a 100% he/she would be fired.

Stuff like this annoys me, RGIII is just a regular guy and a great football player. People shouldn't be calling him out because he isn't "black enough" by their definition of what black is.

Thing with Miami is they don't make enough plays to have a 'big' week fantasy-wise, even in a favorable matchup like Jacksonville. They should keep the score in the teens at worst but do little else to get you points defensively (sacks/turnovers). I wound up having them a couple weeks this year, of course the one week they did get points 'for' me was when I played them against the Jets

Glad I stuck with the Bengals as my fantasy D now that they scored a TD and have almost 20 FP so far

**** the Eagles, all these turnovers and terrible penalties are screwing me over. Going up against AJ Green in the playoffs and they just gave him a TD when they should have been off the field. So frustrating, this just makes me dislike the Eagles even more.

I know that feel. I stupidly kept Bryce Brown in my lineup

and in another league I picked up Harper since Celek went down

**** football.

It really is stupid. There's no such thing as being "black enough". I'd like to know what exactly would make Parker think RGIII was black enough. It's this completely insane stigma against "acting white" and the associated racial politics that aren't helping anybody.

ESPN: "Rob Parker has been suspended until further notice. We are conducting a full review."

ESPN actually DID SOMETHING RIGHT?

Depends on the results of the review. If it's anything less than a firing, then no, they didn't do anything right.

You think the 49ers D can stop Tom Brady in December? Good luck with all that.

Plus Kapernick's likely to turn it over against the Pats' opportunistic D and give the Pats' offense a couple of short fields.
