I don't think Benson ever had 2 starts with the bulk of carries while Thomas Jones was still in town, let alone show that he could actually play and live up to that draft pick. He'd reel off a nice run here or there, but never showed he could do it over 4 quarters.

I'm kind of new to following football this season, so I don't know much. But, is it just me or is there a lot of whining/drama/acting it up/etc? Too much media whining and **** talking. Also, that coaching debacle in Philly? What the hell is this, a coach calling anothercoach a demeaning naem in front of players, etc? I thought this was a league of professionals?

I'm just wondering if this is new this season or is this football? Seems odd.

Benson wasn't mature and he didn't have anyone that would take him under his wing in Chicago. Jones wanted no part of sharing the load or mentoring him.

Benson got his chance in Cincinnati and looked good.

Ryan Broyles tore his other ACL

Why the hell would you trade McCoy? Yikes.

Factor in how much you could get for him in relation to the drop off from McCoy to Brown. While I think McCoy is certainly better, Brown has shown a lot and you could still fill a ton of holes, while having a great RB. It wouldn't be the first time we saw a RB come in off the streets and perform extremely well. If I'm the Eagles, and I can find someone to bite on him... and I can fix the offensive line by doing so, I'd seriously consider it. You'd also be saving some cash in the process as well.
You can't trade McCoy because of 2 games of Bryce Brown. If anything, it's being made evident that neither one got the ball enough, and it is where the next coach should base their gameplan around, so that Foles, or whoever, doesn't have to throw the ball 45 times a game. And Brown was getting more than people thought in comparison to McCoy. One of the biggest problems for the Eagles was/is that their best player wasn't getting the ball, and it was under their own volition.

Injuries are not the reason why the Lions will always remain the Lions.

The reasoning lies in some vast, intangible voodoo magic that no one can explain.

5-6 years ago, I'd agree with you no doubt... but these days true workhorse running backs aren't what win championships. They have so many other holes at the moment, that they'll never be a contender with McCoy back there.

CC Sabathia is so fat he makes Michael Strahan look small. That's not even a joke
