I believe her and Kit Harrington (Jon Snow) are dating in real life. Lucky guy. She's out of his league.

In a show with Robb and Jaime, I wouldn't give Jon Snow a second look.

Jon Snow has weird looking cheekbones, and with his beard he looks like a muskrat. Good hair though, I suppose.

Just put Robb Stark's head on Gendry's torso. Melted panties everywhere.

Also Rose Leslie could play a young Catelyn Tully. ... Oh my God. Now the Ygritte-Jon Snow thing is crazy.

Wouldn't it be great if when HBO passes the books they do a Robert's rebellion miniseries? The regular actors might like it because they can take some time to make movies using their new found notoriety but it may be a problem getting them all back. I can dream though.

Eh, if I want to see anyone do Robert's rebellion it has to be GRRM.

I do appreciate, however, that if the unthinkable happens and GRRM passes before he finishes the series, he has told the HBO writers where he wants to take the final two books. So, we'll get the ending we want, just not via a book.

GO ON A DIET, GEORGE.

If that happens just IMAGINE how obsessive his food porn would be.

But for serious, does Ygritte have blue eyes in the book, because that suddenly unfolds so much about Jon Snow. Catelyn Tully hated Jon and let him know it, but she was also the closest thing he had to a mother. And then there's Ygritte with the trademark Tully eyes and hair.

Being nitpicky, but Auburn hair (Tully) and Hair of Fire (Ygritte) are quite different. If GRRM wanted it that way (Ygritte looking like a Tully, specifically Catelyn), he would have given Ygritte auburn hair. Considering all the intricacies of detail he goes into with other characters, if he wanted it, he'd have it.

I can't find anything on the description of Ygritte's eyes, as all of the focus is on her hair.

Would be amazing, especially in like a 3 movie film franchise. Imagine how truly epic the battle of the trident would be, in the film version.

Bought the books last week and read them, and i have to say i actually like the TV- Series more than the books. Although characters are portrayed quite differently in the books than what impression you get in the GoT.

^ lol too bad... Rhaegar's still a complete idiot in my eyes. And I think if they did do anything with the rebellion, a young Robert Baratheon would be one of the best characters ever.

I thought most of the characters were bang on when I read the books after the first season.

They've done a great job with the casting, but I've always criticized Kit Harrington, and now season 2 and beyond Daenerys (with Viserys who was fantastic) not sharing the screen time. But to be fair, I'm not a huge fan of both in the books as well.

Yeah Kit Harrington and Emilia Clarke aren't that good of actors. The Jon Snow in the books doesn't paint Kit Harrington in my mind. They sure got Robert Baratheon down perfect though, his laugh and mannerisms were impeccable.

Yeah Mark Addy was so great that it's really hard to imagine how much of a badass he would have been in the rebellion.

Think Jamie Lannister x10
