He is now up to 17G and 13A for 30 points in 33 games this year while playing some tough minutes. Olsen looks like he may become what Sutter was supposed to be.
As an aside, ya' have to love the Kelowna PBP guy's style.
Whenever the Rockets score; "Olsen with the... SCAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!"
I really like those assists from Olsen. Nice passes in tight to the net. Olsen, Lowry and Kossy all thrive in traffic and that is something our big squad could really use. Obviously, they are all a few years away, but they look like they could bring some bottom 6 grit.

That combo sounds like a fine 3rd line - gritty line that can score.

ÍF they do turn out (and I think they have a strong chance, but you never know), I really agree that those 3 could turn some heads on the IceCaps and be a solid bottom6 force for the Jets.

I really like Kosy and Lowry, and see 3rd line (maybe more) potential there, but haven't seen too much of Olsen. If Olsen can continue to develop into a big solid 4th or 3rd line center, that would be fantastic.

This year's leap in development has made me think Olsen's potential is solid 4C. He's going to need another substantial leap to make a solid 3C... Possible but I always prefer to be safe (or skeptical depending on point of view) in where prospects will likely fall and where their potential lies.
Adam is now in 6th place in scoring in the WHL With 50 points in 39 games. Hopefully he will make a great 3rd line centre for the jets some day. 6'5" loaded with character and is proving he can score at a high level in juniors at least. I will keep my expectations in check until I see him play in the AHL but I loved this pick on draft day and it's only gotten better since then.

Lowry is very much primarily a LW. Don't think hispro future sees him as a C imo. His skills and game translate better to the wing in my opinion.
If that's the case I stand corrected I thought he was playing centre this season?
He has been playing centre this season but that doesn't always mean he's best suited for C in pro (ex: EKane and probably Huberdeau).
I still think Lowry has a *chance* to be a C in pro but I don't think he'll ever be a true "natural centre", like how Scheifele is a true-blue natural.
Versatility will serve Adam well though as it increases his usefulness if he can become a competent pro C, if not this assignment will still help improve his overall abilities and development which is never a bad thing.
From the information I have , and certainly some of will have more , he has filled in at C , but in every game I have seen including a couple in person he has been a LW.
A 6'5 character LW'er with some scoring ability. Sounds like Ladd's eventual replacement.
I'm really liking him as a hardworking 3rd line LW, with a little offense to his game. If he can continue to develop his game, with a season or 2 on the rock, he sounds like a very nice pick and draft day win.

It's true he's been sort of filling in at C. But he lines up at center more times than anywhere else.

I see him as an additional LW not a replacement for Ladd, hopefully they will have quite a few years as teamates . Kane , Ladd and Lowry looks awfully good to me as the top three LW's for this team in 2 years.
