So currently he is sitting at 656, so without half a season in 94-95 and no full lockout in 04-05, also if this a full lockout. Could Brodeur have 750 wins?
If it wasn't for his injury in 08-09 and a down 10-11 season he'd be a collective ~40 games closer to 700 (assuming another ~20 wins each season). Assume he would have won another ~20 in 94-95 and an additional ~40 in 04-05, that would bump him up to around 750. He seems like he has some gas left in the tank, but I'm not sure he's going to reach 750 now.
I just realized this is strictly his regular season wins. Just looking at the Devils team page, if you add his playoff wins (113) to his regular season wins (656), he's already been well over 750.
there are a lot of what ifs when it comes to lockouts. could brodeur have more wins, jagr could have been 2nd all time in points, selanne could have had 700 goals...but i guess rejecting the owners offers is more important than playing...
