MA Godin seems convinced MacKinnon and Drouin are on the team!

Looks good except that your forwards,
Huberdeau - Nugent-Hopkins - Schiefele
MacKinnon - Strome - Rattie
Hudon - Jenner - Ritchie
Camara - Danault - Lipon
extra: McNeil/Drouin for 13th forward will be tight.

I think everyone pretty much agrees on the defense and for the most part goaltending. I think McNeil/Lipon fight for last spot and Drouin earned a 13th forward role.

Down to Lipon, Shinkaruk, Wilson, MacKinnon and Drouin up front. 2 must go.
Wilson cut! Thank god.

Wilson cut, good on HC. I really am not a fan of his game from what I've seen.

Kinda feels like Canada won't have that physical presence it normally does.

No Gold in the last 3 WJCs, time for a change.
I'm also glad Wilson won't be around to take runs at Galchenyuk and Collberg.

If they keep Drouin and Mackinnon the skill level will be amazing. I'm a fan of physicality in the NHL, huge hits and whatnot don't get me much exited at the WJC.

Brett Ritchie was the most active on the physical side in camp. He was also very good with the puck.

And this team will also feature Jenner and possibly Camara. We're fine in that department.

That's true. Gotta change it up.

True. Too much skill and no warriors is a problem, too.

True, but Canada has had physical top 6 players before along with bottom.

like Marc the Habs Fan said, Jenner and Camara are also on the team. Canada won't lack physical play.
If anything, Team Canada has lacked offensive players in recent years. Really happy they're keeping Drouin and MacKinnon.

I too thought and hoped he'd make it. So that means Lipon is also on the team. JC had a good game today but can't say I've been impressed in the games I've seen him. Can't argue against his season though.

LAst few draft classes have sucked, too. The offensive players were on their respective teams.
Hopefully Hopkins lights it up.
