Surprise, surprise... Diaz annoying Dana again by no showing for media events so Dana is considering pulling him from the UFC 158 card. Hendricks may get his shot after all.

He's not going to. He no showed 3 primetime or whatever tapings but showed up to the 4th and all is well now. Only way he'll lose his shot is if he no shows a presser and he WON'T do that.
This card isn't good enough for you? Three high quality fights..
Do you even like MMA or do you just enjoy whining about fight cards every few months ?
I have NOTHING to complain about 155, 156 or 157. Ring vs Camozzi and Ricci vs Fletcher (especially that one) ARE NOT main card worthy, you guys know this. the 3 main fights are awesome and I know that, it's what he fill the rest of the card with that are just mind-boggling. BTW I watch every card, from fuel TV to PPV's, so yes I like MMA a lot.

You get two fights that could headline a PPV and one that could headline a Fox card. Be happy.

It's a very top heavy card, but you are getting one of the biggest fights of the year and two other very good ones. The rest of the card is bad but
I think you're being a bit unreasonable with your expectations.

You would be happy with Marquarth vs Ellenburger as main-event of a FOX card? I wish the UFC would of atleast considered filling the card new local talent, meh..
Personnaly I like the last FOX card better than 158. Watching GSP live is a dream come true, so I'll settle for that.
It isn't the UFC's fault that there aren't many top Canadian fighters. On all the cards in Canada they try to put some on the main card, sometimes injuries change that.
And it's not sold out yet, at least not as of 157. Didn't Montreal set a record not too long ago for selling out the fastest? The latter two fights really are a disappointment for main card fights..

Agreed it falls off in a hurry, but those top three fights are as good as you'll see on a PPV. Putting the Ricci fight on PPV is really puzzling to me. I'm sure he will fare better at his natural weight but he got thoroughly dominated by Smith and does not deserve that card placement. Mein v Miller would have been better.

Aldo's pissing me off with this spiel. I always talk about how this kind of crap is ridiculous, but then one of my favorite fighters starts up doing it. Gah!

Just learn to ignore it. It's mostly the agents and business side of things, and it always gets figured out. Like I said a week ago, it was a nothing story that went away. It's almost like it was a planted story to get people more excited since people thought it might not happen.

Eh, I guess it was a luxury of just watching the fights in the PRIDE days. All the drama stuff can bug me.
Haven't seen that Anderson rumour anywhere but MMAJunkie reported the Aldo news....
Quote:
UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo (22-1 MMA, 4-0 UFC) is now one win away from a shot at the promotion's lightweight title.
MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) on Monday confirmed with UFC President Dana White that if Aldo is victorious in his August fight with Anthony Pettis (16-2 MMA, 3-1 UFC), he will move up to 155 pounds for a shot at the title in that division.
Quote:
It was Aldo, himself, that first revealed to Brazilian website Tatame.com the reason for accepting the matchup, essentially requesting that if Pettis could change divisions and be considered a No. 1 contender, then he should also receive similar treatment. He also told Brazilian media outlet SporTV.com that "heads will roll" when he steps into the cage against "Showtime."
