ALCS: Red Sox vs. Tigers

Should be a good series, I'm hoping the Tigers advance.

I'm still not sold on the offense if Miggy isn't hitting, so Sox in 5. Pulling for the Tigers, though.

I'm rooting for the Tigers now. I said Tigers in 6 and hope they win the World series. I still would have been more excited for A's/Pirates or A's/Dodgers. Oh well. Maybe next year.

I think if the Tigers are going to win, it will be in 7 with Verlander on the mound.

So I have to be here the whole time to be a fan of the Tigers?

Sorry but it's kind of hard to watch Tigers games living in Raleigh.

I can dig up a post from a while ago in the Detroit section if you want me to.

Red Sox in 5. They're the better team by a good margin with peg leg Miggy leading the Tigers.

How is it possible that as Jays fan, I like the Red Sox more than the Tigers??? I don't know how to process these feelings right now.

If the Red Sox can get better starting pitching in at least two games of the series, they'll win. They have the deeper hitting lineup and have Uehara to lock down a late lead. As long as they can stay close in the games pitched by the bottom of the rotation, I thin they'll pull it out.

Not a bandwagoner but just fairweathered.

And location isn't really an excuse. I watch 100+ A's games every year and I live on the East Coast. And the A's get 0-2 nationally televised games per season.

Anyways, Detroit in 6. I yearn to see these jokers freeze up and get swept in the WS again.

Not really bothering to watch any games until the playoffs sounds pretty fairweathered to me.

I watch every Tigers game that's on tv. I watch the occasional stream. I watch the standings everyday. It's not like I waited until game 162 to see if the Tigers were going to make the playoffs or not. But please continue to think you're a better fan than me.

Yeah, i'm fair-weathered as **** when it comes to baseball, honestly. Doesn't mean I can't enjoy watching Verlander bend the A's over, in back to back years no less.

The ALCS should be a good one. I'm hoping Tigers in 6.

Not trying to make it a point that I'm a ''better fan than you''. Just saying it seems like you're fairweathered. Millions of fairweathered fans out there, so it's not like you're the only one.
