Skate Tongue Problem

I've got a problem with both of my skate tongues getting pulled to the side when I'm tying them. I'm pretty sure they both get pulled towards the outside of each skate. Any idea why this might be? Is it the shape of the top of my foot that is making my tongue slide weirdly?

Easton S17 LE skates (the black ones)... ever heard of this problem with them?

I used to get that..i think waxed laces solved the issue

If I don't keep adjusting my tongue as I tie my skates mine end up pushed to the outside also.

Skate could be a bit too deep for the foot, leading to excess negative space.
