I'm awake to see Canada score 10 against Germany. Russia vs Slovakia at 9am.

2-1 canada after the first

Germany is playing aggressive on the PK and PP to try and stay in this game.

Germany's goalie looks calmer in net than Subban does

I've seen some sites have him in the top 5 and some not have him in the first few rounds so no idea really.

His stats in Germany before heading to the WHL are hilarious

2009-10 : 26 GP 48 G 55 A 103 Pts
2009-10 Playoffs : 5 GP 8 G 3 A 11 Pts

2010-11 : 29 GP 97 G 95 A 192 Pts
2010-11 Playoffs : 5 GP 16 G 15 A 31 Pts

2011-12 : 35 GP 21 G 35 A 56 Pts
2011-12 Playoffs : 8 GP 6 G 6 A 12 Pts

I found a thread from earlier this year about him.

Yeah I think it's safe to say Sweden isn't repeating this year. I believe they already don't have Klefbom and Brodin due to injury and now Lindholm is out too.

RNH is on a different level then everyone else. Huberdeau is the 2nd best forward pretty clearly but RNH has him beat pretty easily. Drouin looked very good to me he stood out. Strome as well. Mackinnon was a complete non factor and wasn't even the best player on his line. Everyone is ripping the Harrington Hamilton pairing as well they should as that's supposed to be their best but I thought Harrington looked good aside from 1 big turnover. Hamilton looked bad. People like to rip Murphy too but I liked his game.

Spelling wise.

Guess I better avoid this thread. Got some watching to do.

Yeah your right they don't have Klefbom and Brodin due to injury but they also don't have Mika Zibanejad because Ottawa wouldn't loan him to the Swedish National Team. They have tough luck.

I know I'm probably biased and it was in garbage time, but I thought Wotherspoon's goal was pretty sweet. The way he hustled back to break up the 2 on 1 his mistake created, and then to turn and start the play up ice the way he did was pretty awesome to see. He's been nothing but solid so far this season for the Winterhawks.

NHL network really needs to show all matches in the tournament.. Canada VS Germany has been replayed probably 4 times since the game ended yesterday..

So far he's been good. His skating is pretty good and he used his speed to get back and over up a mistake or two he made

He's on the 2nd pairing with Jones and believe the second PP pairing with jones. Not sure if he's playing the PK yet, though he probably will

3-0 USA

edit : actually looks like USA is changing pairings around this game to find the best pairings

Gostisbehere has been with Jones and Trouba so far

USA 3-0 at the first intermission

Gostisbehere looks good. His skating is pretty good. He's getting first pairing PP time with Jones and has bounced between the 2nd and 3rd pairing with Jones and Trouba on even strength.

Jones is going to be a superstar. His skating is great. He's fast and has a good shot.
