First time I've ever seen Ertz above Eifert. Like ever.

Anyone else reading into the fact Bears apparantly brought in Stephen McGee and Josh Johnson for looks at Halas Hall this week?

With Cutler shaken up they were probably just being safe

Either way I think McGee would be good guy to target in offseason for #2 job. I liked what he showed in is limited play in Dallas

I don't want anyone that was out of a job in 2012 being our #2 QB in 2013.

I don't completely disagree with what Finley said...I think it is a fair statement...the Bears defense is probably a bit slower with Urlacher out there, but on the other hand you lose the experience and leadership. I guess as long as Finley's comment fuels the fire, that's fine with me.

In addition to whatever minor neck injury he suffered, Cutler also sprained his MCL against Minnesota. Not as serious as the similar injury he suffered in the playoffs against GB, and he'll be able to play through it.

Hard to speculate on how/if it will hinder him. I know Paul Pierce played through an MCL sprain during the playoffs last year. He looked like pretty much the same old Pierce. Still, he's always been really slow on the court so that might not be a fair comparison.

And Cutler is often compared to RGIII and Vick?

He'll be fine, he isn't a mobile QB anyway and and as long as he doesn't aggravate it he should be ok.

Everything points to the Bears getting hammered on Sunday. Probably means they will win, that's how this strange sports world works sometimes.

No, heh. I didn't say Cutler was a scrambler.

He's had a nice mix of rolling out and staying in the pocket in the last few games, and as a result has only been sacked three times in the last three. Not sure how effective he'll be at maneuvering around the pocket and escaping pressure. Hopefully we won't see a difference, because he's been masking a still-horrendous O-line tremendously well since he came back against Minnesota a few weeks ago.

Cutler sprained his knee chasing down an interception. Of course.

Cutler with multiple injuries that have been issues in the past as well and about to eat dirt all day against the Packers. Not good. You know Matthews is going to be looking to end him.

Expecting big contributions from Mike Neal and Dezman Moses this game.

If all those guys are out for the Bears, I don't see how they can win. Don't think they have the depth to stay near where they were with some key guys out like a few NFL teams prove they can do.

As long as Tim Jennings is in (nobody's sure whether he'll play or not as far as I know), the defense can hold its own.

It's the offense I'm concerned about. Mostly the line like always, but missing Bennett is tough as well. Good thing Jeffery is back.

You mean the defense that blew Seattle game?

The D is a wreck and the offense is dysfunctional

And Special teams has been nonfactor this year in return game

The defense always shows up against Green Bay. Not worried about them, but I'm not tremendously surprised that you are. Heh.

I've given up on Hester and don't want him back next year depending on how much cap he'll be eating up.

Aaron Rodgers doesn't really play well against us when we pressure him, so if we can do that, we definitely have a shot at winning.

Melton being out is a fairly big blow... but it's hard to complain about injuries when you're going into a game against the Packers, who have been killed by them and still managed to stay elite.

Ending of this season just seems to be pointing in one direction, and it isn't a good one. But I'm staying positive.

Do I have the option of taking the Packers? Otherwise, no.

Serious score predictions anyone? I'm thinking 27-24 Bears. Might be a homer guess, but I think it's going to be a higher scoring Bears/Packers game than it has been in the recent past because of injuries. Got a good feeling about this weekend for some reason.
