everyone knows how good he is, if anything he is 60pt player who has had alot of hype because of his potential, I really like his chances to make the team because of his potential though and I expect him to be a ppg player.

At first I was a bit suprised at the lack of MSL, but he will be rather old by then won't he. I know you want guys like Eberle and there are good justifications for all those playres, but that is a somewhat green unit other than Iginla. Just goes to show you how awful Canada's depth of elite talent was for the 28-36 age group.

I don't want to come off as a homer, but I agree with you. I know it's the Olympics, but you still need some grit. Weren't Iginla and Morrow a good duo for Canada in 10?

On small ice, yes.

All I have to do is think back to the 2006 team, and how terrible it was on big ice. The team had too many players with 'grit', which got them nowhere. It was an embarrassing team.

I'd go

Stamkos-Crosby-Eberle
Tavares-Spezza-Giroux
Nash-Toews-Richards
Staal-Bergeron-Perry
Iginla

For forwards, Eberle shouldn't be on the 4th line when Staal can do a better job, and Nash-Toews-Richards are a must together. But you could just skip Spezza altogether and go with Tavares-Giroux-Iginla
