Is this good enough for you?

@DarrenDreger: Some players are concerned the league is digging in post-disclaimer deadline. New vote about to begin. PA will use disclaimer if necessary.

More NHLPA paranoia and Fehr tactics

Not impressed ,, Donald Fehr doesn't want a deal its that simple

The Pension fight smells again of Fehr moving goalposts and delaying

No, the league changed the definition of HRR, now they changed it back. They also changed penalties for teams hiding revenue.

What does this have to do with Fehr?

How do you move goal posts on something you never agreed on?!?! It's also called a negotiation.

If the PA goes ahead and votes on the disclaimer no more maybe we will use it maybe won't. No more negotiations, just get the mandate and file it. Otherwise it will be an idle threat, like last time.

League source says all "changes" to Article 50 were highlighted and flagged and the union has had docs for a week.

Of course ,, NHLPA playing mind games again

NHL didn't slip in changes ,, NHLPA had time to review the entire offer by NHL and waited til progress was made to fake outrage

"Failed to identify" Changed rules for penalties on hidden revenue. How hard is that to understand?

Man, you should really start paying attention to the negotiations if you are going to post about them.

The NHL changed the pension plan they agreed to in early Dec., not the PA.
The NHL changed their views on the variance of contracts after the Disclaimer deadline passed, not the PA.

Who doesnt want a deal? Bettman
Who's CLEARLY moving goal posts? Bettman

Here is an exchange between someone who works at the NHL network and is staked out at the negotiations

The league seemed confident the players wouldn't file IF they were making progress. So they have been dragging their feet.

Me: to what end

Him:
The owners would take the deal as it stands from the players right now. They have their 50%, contract limits and 10 year CBA. Everything else is filler. But they want to continue to stick it to the players. Just the leagues mentality. No matter. The players will find a way to get their money. And we will be back here in 8 years.

Heard expansion is right around the corner.

He can't prove it. He just hates Fehr for doing his job. Makes a whole lot of sense. Some people just need somebody to blame.

Need more than your recollection as evidence. I remember that it tapered down to a 50-50 split in like year 4.

"What about this is our best offer, take it or leave it."

or

"Contract lengths - 5 years are the hill the owners will die on."

Lies too?

More delusion. Even if this season gets cancelled some of you folks will somehow find a way to come to the conclusion that Fehr was just doing his job. The guy is a cancer to the entire process and many, many people have already paid a hefty price for his recklessness. I'm done with this until the NHL is back.

Fehr wasn't around for the last couple of lockouts, what happened there? His JOB is to get the PA the best possible deal. The deal has gotten better every step of the way. The names and cross hairs some of you put on the guy are hilarious. He is the face of the PA, he doesn't wield all this power.

They are far too close to cancel the season, they are just milking each other for everything right now.

There will be a 48 game season.

Never underestimate Donald Fehr's ability to screw up

Remember this was a guy who told MLB players to get out of shape to pressure owners to settle and told them that MLB wouldn't cancel WS

And who has overseen one shortened NHL season, one fully cancelled NHL season and either another shortened or cancelled season?
