Neither do I, it's not like I have a plate in my head or something (although some may think so, lol). One thing I did do when I autoprogrammed was program for cable, not air. I do not have an antenna hooked up and rather have the cable coming from the floor that I used to use for my cable box when I had cable. It doesn't seem like I get any other cable channels, however, in total, I do get about 30-35 channels. Most are absolute garbage that I never watch so I couldn't say 100% that comcast is the only cable channel I get but it does seem like it and it is certainly the only one I would watch outside of 2, 5, 7, 9, 12. Other than that, I go to disc replay a lot and buy movies.
Leaf/Jet owners are gone (Both moderates) ,,, NHLPA has yet to meet NHL today (Have pushed back the planned meeting with delay) and are asking for mediators (Fehr getting back involved)
All the progress of last 2 days gone
Dater sums it up well

I've been pro-union most of the way,but I truly feel Fehr is messing up by pushing for peanut differences. Risk of losing all peanuts real

Looks like that was a crock of ****, and they're still not even close... everyone is reporting they're not even close to a deal, despite what just came out a few minutes ago.
That's pretty much the last straw for me, I'm done with this ****.

It's amazing. Both sides giving and taking, working through dis-agreements, coming to an understanding. Then Fehr showed up, after agreeing to stay out of meetings,
Bettan not even at hotel, and BOOM! all progress lost.
Seems like Fehr realized a deal was about to be made without him and he would be without a job and decided to blow up the deal. Smart move for his own sake which is all he cared about all along.
I've got some more tweets and a link to an article Russo posted while on a flight.
Joe Haggerty @HackswithHaggs
.Gary Bettman on no deal: "I am disappointed beyond belief where we are tonight. I wanted to do everything possible to try to get a deal."
Josh Rimer @JoshRimerHockey
Donald Fehr killed baseball, now he's on the verge of killing hockey.
Pat Leonard @NYDNRangers
Bettman calls Fehr being optimistic to media tonight "almost incomprehensible"
Craig Custance @CraigCustance
Bill Daly characterizes term limit on player contracts as "the hill we will die on."
Sam Carchidi @BroadStBull
Daly said owners were "insulted" by players' reaction to NHL's offer.
devin setoguchi @Dsetoguchi10
It's not even about picking a side or who's at fault just grow up and be an adult
Not surprised. Said all along (credit to BWC, so did he) that nothing was ultimately going to come out of this.
I'm telling all of you, you have to just give up hope on this stuff. It'll kill you to keep riding the emotional roller coaster. Just let it go - you'll be much more relaxed for it.
Sad that this is the type of fury/unhappiness/frustration/apathy our league has created in us fans, isn't it? But it's just par for the course for the NHL.
Why the players believe they are going to get more from the NHL after this is beyond me. Scott Upshall's tweet is exactly the problem with this lockout. The players think that they are ****ing over the owners, when the fact is it's vice versa. I dont care if there is never another NHL game again. When those guys are all out of money and are making 50k in swiss or italy like an average person (David Backes will enjoy that), they'll be wishing they would've accepted this offer. So disrespectful to the owners. They are not professional in any manner, and it's a shame that it has come to this.
For Fehr to send all that optimism and then just slap everybody in the face just took any fans off their side and onto another sport. Football is keeping me content. At least i know i have 10 years before a lockout happens with them. Owners have my support 100%.

How can anyone be on the owners side?
Long contracts lead to cap circuvmention and hurt smaller market teams (Look at Philly offer sheet for easy example)
Not to mention that long/super long contract are only insured for 7 years
Its not unreasonable for NHL to want to stamp out the long term deals and go to a set limit (5 for UFA / 7 for re-signed player)
Not at all unreasonable

Yep it is stuff like this that makes the NHLPA sink even further into in public's eye

There's no pressure yet on the owners to lose this year, that's why they still treat us like Cattle. They'll need a partner come January.

Fehr said they offered, contracts can move no more than 25%. That pretty much stops cap circumvention. As far as insurance, I have no idea but surely they can meet in the middle. I still don't like the owners take it or leave it approach. Accept this deal as is or else.
Everything today was a complete gong show, almost hilarious. League leaves a VM for Steve as Donald is at the podium. Bettman says he didn't know. How does he not know? All of this to save some small market teams that probably won't make it anyways.
Seems like the wheels are coming off. Must mean a deal is around the corner.
