IMHO If it is it will be put like this...'has Koko been signed to a card' the media types who generally attend the pressers tend to not want to ruffle feathers. If they do they would not be privy to 'inside info' which is their lifeblood.

i think that if we plan on keeping koko then vail , marchese , johnson, clarke and more will have to be on the move so we dont have what happened with kas and ellis trades

if we stay pat and not make moves this will set the windsor spitfires back another couple of years

Trade Pending League approval

from @loosepucks...Pending league approval: OS moves Middleton '96 & Blandisi '94 to Ottawa for Ceci '93 and Janes '93. Pick(s) involved as well

also.....no change to OHL trade deadline so far. Not enough info from NHL deal. Competition committee planning another call Tuesday

If we could get a 1996 first rounder for Koko and WR doesn't make that move we as a franchise have no hope. And I don't think Koko would be in any position to block a move given he's coming back here with his tail tucked between his legs.

with this trade i think it put even more chips in WR hands

belleville and oshawa will have to make a move

and koko or vail or johnson would look good in those uni's

i think you will see either one of these guys on our team come the 17th

Cole Cassels
Josh Brown
Michael Dal Colle

or

Niki Petti

i just have a funny feeling we might get one of these guys ( or a hope )

Wsr GM Warren Rychel on trading Khokhlachev:"Teams (are) interested but I think we’re just going to stand pat here and try to make playoffs"

Then he hints another deal may be in the works....via twitter feeds

If he doesn't make a significant move my Season Tickets are done...I'm not going to waste money to watch a GM only try to make the playoffs just to make more money to pay off his 250.000 Punishment, he knows what's the right thing to do there going absolutely no where this conference is way to hard and it's still a first round exit either way...

Koko may have returned provided he is not traded- it then becomes a decision to keep him or lose him again. If that is the case good move keeping him here. While we might have interest in fans to see a sale of Pavelka, Posa and Clark they may have more value to us than anyone else is willing to pay ... only time will tell

Nah I doubt it,

Rychel will deal Kokolachev almost certain.

It's early, relax everyone.

Did Warren not learn anything by not trading Ellis and Kassian? Koko needs to be traded. This team is in desperate need of assets, especially if they are going for it next season. Koko is a piece that can bring back some good assets. You have to take advantage of this. It doesn't matter if they finish 6th, 7th or 8th. They have NO chance of beating London, Owen Sound or Plymouth.

I agree, if WR gave him a no trade promise he was in desperation mode. Koko had no leverage whatsoever. Either play in the OHL or stay in mother Russia.
He was looking after himself when he moved to the KHL. We wouldn't be looking after ourselves if he was given a no movement clause.

He should trade Koko for some assets that help this year and next to strengthen the bid for the Memorial Cup. Keeping him is a weak decision.

I don't think they'll win the bid. Too many teams will be better than them.

Is it just me?

Everyone seems to be playing Lets Make A Deal while we sit twiddling our thumbs. I see London reached out to the NCAA for the goalie they needed and in the last few days a couple of other NCAA players came to the OHL.

Do you wonder if WR reached out to ask if people such as Barber,Butcher,DiGuiseppe,Nick /Jordan Schmaltz & numerous others had any interest in heading our way?

There have been a couple of good deals go down today and maybe we can snag a couple of left overs but then again maybe not.

Perhaps I'm just a wee bit impatient. Probably someone will call up and offer us the deal of a lifetime............................
