MacKinnon probably just said that he drank the final cup of coffee in the building.

Mackinnon, he can credit me for his hockey career . FWIW, he always has been very protective of his coffee.

Admirals with the rare win, 3-2. Vatanen had an assist (and a -2). Sexton and McMillan with goals, Caputi and Hendry scored in the SO. Etem had assist #3 on the year. Andersen had 37 saves and the first star.

Remember at the beginning of the season when the goalies were struggling? Times, they do change.

Sorry, what I meant is that he looks like the same player as when he left. No noticeable differences from what I've seen.

He sure looks like the best defenseman, He makes Guenin look like he needs skating lessions, makes Clark look like he needs a hockey teacher, and makes Perant look like he was a first round bust (which in my opinion he is) to bad Im probably watching the last few games of his AHL career, and just as unfortunate the others im going to be seeing alot more of (and losses to)

Fret not. Lovejoy is creating problems with his play with the group we already have. Any time you add a defenseman that makes you wonder if you should bench Toni Lydman or Luca Sbisa, your group is doing just fine.

I'd love to see Lindholm get the try in the major league that he was hoping (and basing his decision to leave Europe on) for but there doesn't seem to be much room for him.

I feel for you guys. It won't last forever. We have some really good players coming up, and I wouldn't be surprised to see a few free agent signings for Norfolk when the college season ends. This season was just a lot of bad timing, and we probably had the wrong coach for what we sent there.

This Year

I am not as pessimistic about this bunch as Admiral Al is. With the callups we are definitely offensively challenged. But this team has heart and will not quit. Another good measure is hoew the callups have done in Anaheim. But they are playing a defense first style of hockey welli which is suited to the personnel here now.

Yes some good free agent signings out of the college and junior ranks are needed. Depth is an issue. And the Bolts while they were here made some excellent free agent signings, see Cory Conacher.

Lindholm really impresses me. He shows a maturity far beyond his years. He is defensively sound and carries the puck well. Upper body strength neds working on but that can be done easily. He will be a star on the Ducks blue line sooner than later.

So far McMillan has two goals. Holland and Wagner have one a piece.

"Norfolk Admirals scratches at Hershey Bears: Hampus Lindholm, Luca Caputi & Jay Rosehill. Puck drops at Giant Center at 7:02pm."

Hopefully not another injury for Lindholm.

Norfolk Admirals will be adding the talents of Sarnia Sting Captain, Charlie Sarault, upon the completion of the Sting season.

Sarault signed with the Ducks earlier this week. Over the last 2 seasons, Sarault has 187 points in 130 games (hit the 100 point plateau through 62 games so far this season).

Either way not good news that he's sitting. He's had an incredibly unlucky year when it's come to injuries I hope it doesn't affect his development.
