Price is not going anywhere. Thats also a terrible trade Bryzgalov, Schenn, Hartnell AND 2 first round picks? Hell thats probably what it would take to get price out of Montreal. Yeah this is a bad trade for the Flyers plus Price is not going ANYWHERE.

Its an incredible deal for Philly..... It takes 2 players off their team and 1 goalie that they want to give away, Hartnell is a good 1st line fill in, great 2nd liner, while Schenns role can easily be replaced by Couturier. The 1st will likely be late and this would be the first time in Flyer's history that theyd have a true franchise goalie.

What in the world?
Why would Philly want to GIVE AWAY Hartnell? He just put up 37 goals and has incredible chemistry with their star center. Not to mention Schenn has been great defensively... He did great in the playoffs as well...
Not sure if your comments were serious, or you just pulled them out of a hat

Where did i say they would give him away?
The deal breaks down to
blue-chip prospect
1b/2a W
cap dump
2 late 1sts
for
franchise goalie
2a/2b C
B level prospect
If im Philly, i take the package, their goaltending woes will be a lot harder to fill then the loss of Hartnell, while the loss of Schenn will be negligible with Couturier already on the team.
EDIT: I see our confusion. I worded it wrong, the giveaway part was meant specifically for Bryzgalov.

What is this I dont even...
The upgrade from Price to Bryzgalov is not worth this price. Would much rather hold on to the two firsts, Schenn, and Hartnell and then just count on a Bryzgalov bounce back. I understand why Montreal would want to do this trade, however.

The upgrade is definitely worth it.
A Leaf equivalent would be Lupul + Gardiner + Komisarek + 2 1st and i take that and run.

I think you may have misread the comment. He was only talking about Bryz, obviously they have high hopes for Schenn and love Hartnell.
Montreal does not do the deal, Price means too much to MTL, the only way he would leave is if a true superstar comes the other way. Philly may pull the trigger as they get a franchise goalie plus a young center in Desharnais.

Well I will just have to disagree. I am a fan of Bryz, and want to give him one more year before we attempt (Because it will be nearly impossible) to move his contract.
And I really hope you forgot the sarcastic smiley we the whole "Price being the Flyers' first ever franchise goalie" thing

Montreal
Carey Price
Dalton Thrower
David Desharnais
3rd Round pick
Philadelphia
Ilya bryzgalov
Brayden Schenn
Scott Hartnell
2013 First Round Pick
2014 First Round Pick
So basically the habs give:
Our elite goalie
Our 2nd line C
Mid-level prospect
and the habs get:
A goalie coming off a down season (and post season)
A 30 year old winger, as good as he is now he is still signed to a 4.75m cap until he's 36
A promising and young 3rd line center (that is fair but he is not a replacement for DD)
And two probably late firsts
No way from the habs fanbase. If we're giving up Price (which we're not) and Desharnais I want to see Couturier + Bryz coming back

I didnt think it was necessary, but its been a while
You know, People incorrectly call me a Price hater, because as a Montreal fan, i constantly offer Price bellow what they think is his expected value in different proposal.
And even me would not make this deal.
Take out Bryzgalov
Dalton Thrower
David Desharnais
3rd Round pick

Any NHL caliber goalie other than Bryzgalov would be a better option than Bryzgalov.
Edit : a new CBA could change my opinion on this. (an amnesty clause could greatly diminish the risk to have Bryzgalov contract and therefore increase his value.)

I don't think you know anything about the Flyers history.
