Tablets: Nexus 10 VS. Samsung 10.1" 16GB Galaxy Tab 2 Tablet?

Should I go for the Samsung 10.1" 16GB Galaxy Tab 2 Tablet with a $50 discount ($299) or go for the Nexus 10 16GB at $409?

What I'm going to use my tablet for:

-Downloading movies and shows and watching them, as well as streaming them onto my big screen (HDMI)

-Playing games, like emulators as well as apps.

-Browsing the web.

-Some typing and organzing, as well as a home entertainment controller if possible (Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 apparently does this).

I don't really care about the GB capacity as they both have SD card readers and 32GB is all I think I'd really need.

If money is not an issue I would pick the Nexus

I find Galaxy tabs quite laggy

Plus with the Nexus you get vanilla Android and OS updates first

And the fact the Nexus 10 has a far better resolution display, FAR superior internal hardware and better battery life.

I have a Galaxy Tab 2 and I use it for web browsing and rarely anything else. Seems fine to me, I really like it. Great for browsing HFboards or reddit. Never really tried to use it for much else.

There's very little reason to get Asus Transformer or Samsung Galaxy Tab now that the Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 are out.

They're clearly worse in resolution/hardware and in having to wait months for a new OS update. If money's an issue, I'd personally get the Nexus 7 before the Galaxy Tab 10...awesome value there even if the display size isn't what you want.

I thought the Nexus 10 didn't have a SD card reader.

I have a Nexus 7. There's an issue with the charger.
