Kovalchuk

Where's Spezza? He might just be the most underrated goalscorer in the league.

I think Michalek is more of a goal scorer than Spezza on Ottawa.

Not at all. Spezza is a significantly better goal scorer, it's pretty obvious from watching them. That said, neither guy should be getting mentions this early on.

Kovalchuk then Perry.
Lots of people overlook Corey but if Getzlaf didn't have his head up his *** all year it's perfectly reasonable to think that Perry could've had 3 more goals for 40.

He has a career high of 34 goals...

I love Spezza, he's probably my favourite forward in the league, but I wouldn't put him anywhere near the top of this list.

Kovalchuk in his prime? Absolutely.

Kovalchuk now? I'd take Crosby and Gaborik over him just as goal scorers.

Although I'd take Kovalchuk over Gaborik overall.

Voted Crosby.

The problem with Spezza is that he just doesn't shoot enough he would score a lot more if he just shot the puck

Gaborik has passed Kovalchuk in goals I think twice and 1 of those times he only had a 1 more goal. Kovalchuk has also played in 50 more games with 80 more goals. I would put Crosby 5th though right behing Malkin
