We havent developed ****.
Weight didn't come into his own until he was traded here. Guerin was pretty established before he was traded here, that i'll give you but a lot of these guys had their better years here.

They didn't have a choice but to trade off their high priced stars, those were tough times as an Oiler fan.

I think Lander has been developed more appropriately. He was always going to be, at best, a depth centre/PK specialist and they have done a decent job of correctly setting his expectations. I don't think playing a significant amount of time on the Oilers' 4th line hurt him at all last season and he should be fine to slot in there again in 2014. If he magically develops more chemistry with MPS and some scoring touch he could still be a very good 3C.
Didn't Omark go to OKC for 2 months light it up and they get called up?

Omark was not poorly handled. He stayed over here in Europe to develop the game he could play, but the game he plays is not suited to the NHL

Omar's stayed in Europe, came to the AHL and was the called up to the NHL. He wasn't handled poorly, he just wasn't good enough.

He shouldn't have stayed in Europe.

He was already playing in the nhl when he came here.

Pretty hard to claim that we developed him.

We did develop Stoll, Hemsky, Pisani, Horcoff well I suppose, even though some of their careers spiralled downwards after 2006 due to injuries, there's no way we're in the 2006 SCF without big time contributions from these four.

We seem to have zero luck when we draft based on need unfortunately though.

Thank goodness we took Eberle regardless of his size/position.
