I voted for Datsyuk, but I could see the argument for Lundqvist or Ovechkin here.

Dats then The King

I can see Kovalchuk being underrated and dropping in these polls.

Lundqvist.

A good chunk of this board seems to think C is the only position on a hockey team.

Lundqvist.

You can put him on pretty much any team and you have yourself a playoff team, or at least close too.

Edit: Noticed that you are Devils fan, so that must have been a homer vote.

Elias is an underrated 2 way center, I'm all ok with adding St.Louis, Zetterberg or Kopitar before Elias but he should follow soon after. But I don't think that will happen.
This is exactly why I am not associating myself with this poll. It started out with a very small list of players and still has one, and favors the East heavily. As if the Eastern conference somehow stockpiles all of the better players.

I don't believe in rankings forwards, defenseman, and goalies together so I won't vote.

Giroux over Weber, Datsyuk, and Lundqvist?

I must admit that I'm not a Western conference expert. But I acknowledge there's a few decent guys out there. In fact, I'm an expert. I watched 5 blackhawks games on center-ice last year. (kaneone's signature)
