Conway/Indiana won the Clark Cup. Funny thing is that's their last game for a while as the team will be folded for at least the 2014-15 season and the future is unknown.

My guess would have to be WSHL or GMHL but I'm hoping it's pretty much anywhere else.

During the GB U20s commentary Andy Buxton said he's got a scholarship, so I'd assume a college team.

NCAA III or ACHA then?

Usually NCAA doesn't take too kindly to guys who played pro hockey, which technically Goss did.

EJHC @ejhcuk · May 23
EJHC is proud to welcome Bradley Stone from @SouthShoreKings to the camp!
He spent the last couple seasons at Northwood Prep.

South Shore Kings = USPHL

They have tons of different levels in USPHL.

USPHL Premier is the top level, lots of NCAA commits and even some guys ranked for the NHL draft. It's not NAHL or USHL quality but it's also better than the outlaw leagues like WSHL or GMHL.

USPHL Elite is the 2nd level, also considered Jr. A and has just a few NCAA commits. Liam Charnock plays USPHL Elite and Jack Musils old team (Space Coast) merged into the Elite division.

USPHL Empire is the 3rd level, considered Jr. B. Pretty much WSHL or GMHL level.

USPHL 18U is their midget league, at Stones age you'd hope he's not playing 18U.

If ejhc is accurate and he's playing USPHL next season with South Shore, hopefully it's at least in USPHL Elite.

Robert Farmer started the season with Alaska in ECHL, well they just won the Kelly Cup.

If he signed with almost any other team he probably would have at least had a shot at ice time but he went to a stacked team that expected a Championship and got it.

It must be, don't think he would even be allowed to play NCAA anyway would he because he played in the EIHL?

Didn't even think of that.

There's another Brit goalie in ACHA right now and I think Goss may have played as many EIHL games as him in the last 2 years

Unless they changed their rules, he would miss 10 matches (unless EP isnt up to date on hime) since he played in 10 with Coventry as thats how they handled Freibergs at Bowling Green. However, they might look at Goss differently as Freibergs played on a junior club that participated in a pro league.

The 10 games are the ones when he actually got on the ice, he was a backup for 2 whole seasons

and unless NCAA changed their rules, backing up counts as GP. Emergency CHL backups have been boned by the rule before.

Ahh alright, well then I guess that pretty much means he isnt playing for the NCAA club.

I'm just confused by the tweet saying D1. That suggests NCAA D1 hockey to most people familiar with college hockey... but ACHA has multiple divisions and could just as easily mean D1 of ACHA because their non-varsity team is D1 of ACHA.

Yes, agreed, and keeping expectations reasonable.

Let's be honest, if he develops into an Allsvenskan regular, he'd be the best GB player We'll have to see how he does in an actual league.

He needs to impress enough in the J18 this season to get onto the J20 team for next year, if that happens there isn't an unreasonable chance that he could get drafted late if he has a good season there

Not really a Brit but he started his coaching in GB and was an assistant coach for the GB senior team, Rob Wilson appointed head coach of the Straubing Tigers (DEL)

Sam Duggan will play for Örebro IK U20 next season according to Hockeysverige:

http://www.hockeysverige.se/2014/07/...nye-tony-hand/

They call him "the next Tony Hand".

Hope it's true, I'd love to see him in real life. Can't say I think ÖIK has the best junior player organisation in the league(s), though.

"The next Tony Hand" might be pushing it just a little bit Tony Hand was so good he absolutely dominated against adults as a 16 year old

It was also an era where the imports in BHL weren't even good enough for NA junior leagues and the goalies were all Brits wearing 2x4's for pads

Maple Leaf prospect Connor Browns father went over to BHL around that time, he was a nobody in NA and had 2 100+ point seasons with ease.
