4TH round under way and Fritsch was 2 under after 5 but dropped a shot at the 6th after 9 Fritsch is one under and currently tied for 18th.

Man, the Jays are already down 0-5 in the 3rd inning against the Dodgers, well on their way to their 5th straight loss. This is going from bad to horribad. What the hell.

Just for your info Fritsch now has his own website http://bradfritsch.com/ but it needs to be updated.
Brad will be back in Canada this week for the Canadian Open.

It hasn't been updated eh?

I might know of a guy who is really really really really good at keeping others updated on the status of Fritsch.

So, with Ryan Braun's suspension, looks like the first domino is in place for multiple Biogenesis suspensions.

Is the shoe ever going to drop for PED suspensions in the NFL? How about NHL?

What's all this A-Rod possibly being banned crap? How do you go from the Braun suspension to a ban? Giant leap there in punishment.

Don't forget Braun's suspension was a plea bargain. He went to the league and they worked out a deal, agreed to the rest of the season and no appeal.

A-Rod shouldn't get lifetime ban, because that's stupid. But, he's never playing in the league again, no matter what the suspension is. I figure 100 games, maybe he's able to appeal it down to something lower.

The crazy thing is the swing in the MLBPA. When Don Fehr was around, he didn't even want to allow testing of any kind. Now Michael Wiener is all about getting these guys suspended if they deserve it.

How would you like to be Tarell Brown of the San Francisco 49ers...

Quote:
Earlier this offseason, we learned that Brown's 2012 performance had triggered an escalator that increased his base salary from $925,000 to $2,925,000. However, apparently that escalator required appearances at the 49ers offseason workout program. Brown had said he stayed home to focus on some specific work to get him ready for this coming season. He is heading into free agency after the season, so it makes sense to want to do exactly what he needs to in order to get ready for the coming season. He did attend the team's minicamp.

The $2 million decline is reflected in NFLPA records, so it would seem that Brown is aware of this. All indications are that he is at camp, and not holding out. While he can't be pleased with this situation, fault would have to lie with either Brown or his agent. Either Brown knew and decided he was willing to sacrifice the money, or his agent did not do his due diligence when it comes to the salary ramifications of staying home much of the offseason.
Oops.

Apologies little D, had to go visit some of the wifes friends probably a good thing i did as when i left Fritsch was 2 over and tied for about 114th, but 6 birdies in the last 14 holes brought him up to tied for 16th and top Canadian. http://www.pgatour.com/leaderboard/v...9740.2013.html
Fritsch tees off at 8:30 am from the 10th hole in the 2nd round.

Fritsch birdied his 2nd hole today to move him up to 11th, but then Brad decided to go for a swim on a couple of holes to go 1 over after 5 holes, to drop down to tied for 38th, the cut is currently set at one under.

Top Canadian at the moment is Mike Weir who is currently 4 under after 8 holes.

18 Canadians entered the Canadian Open, only 4 made the cut. Weir, Fritsch, Sloan and Hearn.

That's rough for Fritsch. He'll be outside the top 125 by end of play tomorrow.

Hunter Mahan was leading the tournament, and he withdrew today when his wife went into labour.

Sport-related, so I think this count. A YouTube group called Dude Perfect recently did an NFL kicking episode where they get pros to do trick shots, and for the video they too the Rams two kickers (P Johnny Hekker and K Greg Zuerlein.) Some damn impressive shots, and it's been independently confirmed that they weren't manipulated with trick photography. Worth a watch.

Also, I can't help but feel that this puts the Rams kickers into the conversation of "most fun kickers in the NFL."

Well, looks like the A-Rod being banned for life story line is picking up steam.

He and about eight other players might have their suspensions announced today. They've all made deals with the league, except for Rodriguez.

Fritsch is back playing in the Reno-Tahoe Open, this tournament the scoring
Double eagle 8 points
Eagle 5 points
Birdie 2 points
Par 0 points
Bogey -1 point
Double bogey or worse -3 points

so after the first round Fritsch had 5 bogeys (-5) and 2 birdies (+4) giving him a total of -1, he is currently tied for 88th. whereas the current leader is at 14 having had 7 birdies and no bogeys.
