Just tells you what he's doing out there if he gets those stars even when his team gets beaten by that score.

MJ's regular season ends a month prior to the end of the Marlies regular season . Looking at a minimum of 10 games in the AHL this year.

If the Marlies don't, could he play on the Leafs, or would that burn a year off his deal?

true, even though they are 8th, they have like 3 or 4 games in hand vs the top teams, or some of them atleast, I think they will make it

That's in a non-shortened season. Since this season is shortened, it is only 5 games (82/9 is roughly equal to 48/5).

It's 5 because of the shortened season.

Brown had a decent game last night, he doesnt overwhelm you with his skating but he did beat a few defenders wide. He was used alot on the pk and he seemed to cause 3 or 4 turnovers himself that went the other way for chances. I noticed that when he passes he tends to put it in only spots his linemattes can get, didn't have as many turnovers as i was expecting. This summer will be a big one for brown, he needs to lengthen his stride and continue to get stronger. Definetly a smart hockey player though.

Broll has been red hot of late too, Morgan Rielly is the only Moose Jaw dman (besides McFaull) who is not negative. They're losing 3-0.

I wish we had a proper ECHL affiliate. McKegg and Ross need to be down there getting top minutes like Carrick. I don't want Biggs and Leivo stuck in the same situation next year.

I think a lot of the Acton/Hamilton guys will go to make way for the younger guys. You can't lose development years because of tweeners.

I actually think the team has no intentions of getting rid of Hamilton, unless its promotion to the NHL. We still need some leadership on the Marlies to help the youngsters. Can see Zigo moving on next year, and maybe Scott and Acton to make some room. Most of these guys seem to be on short term contracts.

If its not clear to you now, it wont ever be clear: Will Acton is not going anywhere.

Eakins loves him, and hes earned his spot
