Yeah, I got to think Backstrom gets re-signed by the Wild in light of Harding's MS diagnosis. You got to just feel terrible for Harding. Wild had him lined up to take the reins after this season.

I could see Iginla going to Pittsburgh at a discounted rate or in a Bruins or Flyers uniform.

I saw Hackett once or twice and thought he looked pretty good- had no idea about Harding, that's terrible. Is he still going to play or is he calling it quits?

I think you're high if you think Iginla will be anywhere but calgary for the remainder of his career.

This is probably true but I just wish that he did move on. If there was ever a guy deserving to be on the cup it would be him and Calgary is at least 4-5 years from even being a possible contender.

I know there is no chance of the Blues signing Getzlaf or Zajac.
You know there is no chance.

Does not mean that I cannot dream of it and imagine how the Blues would look with a real #1 center and going from having decent center depth to having enviable levels.

Plans to continue.

I wonder which stage of MS he is in. If it is relapsing/remitting he would theoretically be able to play just fine whenever he is in remission. I want to say things like stress and high fever can trigger MS attacks in this stage, but I don't know for sure. He seems like a rather laid back guy who handles stress fairly well. I guess if fever is a trigger he'd want to stay away from the locker room as much as possible during flu season...

Best of luck to him, even though I really can't stand Minnesota.
