The funny thing about it is if you read the text in the picture, it talks about how Keenan wouldn't allow it and vetoed the idea. What I find hilarious is that in the bottom right corner, it shows a picture of "cool cat, the blues would be mascot". Apparenty Keenan wasn't happy with that either.
I can only imagine what was said: "No team of mine is going to wear that thing out on the ice...oh yeah, and another thing, GET THAT GOD DAMN CAT OUTTA HERE!!!"
Does it? The Maple Leafs have had different jerseys from 1970 and onwards. So have the Bruins.
And if your criteria disallows that, wouldn't it also disallow the 6 expansion clubs from 1967? So no North Stars, Seals, Kings, Pens, Flyers, Blues? Which we've already seen 3 of them posted here. Just trying to clarify here.
Think I'll probably have to go with St. Louis (either), Philly (orange), or San Jose (old teal) as my favorite expansion looks.
Wild have my second favorite logo in the league, behind only the Hawks, but their uniforms have been mostly meh overall.
And I love the Kings' old purple look, but as that was retired well before I really started paying attention to hockey, don't think I can give them props for something they used to have and only wore a few times since as a novelty.
Isles, Oilers, and Sabres have sharp looks as well.
I love Philly's current orange jersey so much. Only thing I don't like is how the TV numbers overlap into the orange. I wouldn't even put numbers there, honestly.

Well, it's cool in the funny sense and I'd wear it, but that is an awful jersey. The mascot makes more sense than what they have right now though. Cats just ooze the blues to me.
Post above me is pretty solid. Phoenix 3rd has to be one of the worst ever. Always liked the Sharks jerseys, especially their logo. Loved my Avs jerseys. Didn't really like the green in the Devils jerseys... Lightning's 3rd in that pic is just amazing. Mighty Ducks were neat, same with the Whalers.

Last night an ESPN program was discussing how the Detroit Pistons needed a hero citing the heroes on the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions and no mention of the Detroit Red Wings. All this despite the Red Wings probably being the most succesful team in Detroit right now.
