Does anyone know the word on Tobias Rieder? I thought I heard somewhere hes injured, but I cant find a legit source to confirm if, Cause if so I will need to redraft that pick.

i am going to wait my 8 hours to make my pick as my last pick is a goalie. I will wait for an announcement on some backups so I do not pick a 3rd goalie. no one else needs to pick a goalie so i dont think I am interfering with anything. I will inform topched that he can select his repick

so it looks like team USA wont make their last cut for defense until the tournament starts and it looks like it is between grzelyck and sieloff. if grzelyck is cut once the tournament starts am i screwed? also hampus linholm is now injured so i might have to make a repick for him

If you can find me a link saying Lindholm is definitely out for the tournament, you can get a re-pick. If Grzelcyk is cut, then I guess you can get a re-pick.

He's on Germany's roster submitted to the IIHF, so no re-pick.

USA is making cuts after the tourney starts? I thought all rosters were due the day before or something? No chance a re-pick can be made after tournament action starts! Some unpicked guy could get 4 pts tomorrow. Not fair at all.

Don't forget to pick your goalie too Bruins! Tourney starts soon! I mean I know it's convenient you have last pick and are stretching it as long as possible for maximum info but c'mon now.

I seriously hope all rosters are locked as soon as puck drops for FIN-LAT in apx 6 hours.

http://www.nhl.com/ice/blogpost.htm?id=12404 this is the thing i was talking about with team USA. they are apparently not submitting their roster until after the games tomorrow start so thats why i was wondering what i should do with Grzelyck since either him or sieloff will be getting cut.

Also i choose Niklas Lundtrom of Sweden for my goalie. the extra didnt help and i am just hoping he gets the nod tomorrow. honestly was away for most of the day and didnt look alot into and didnt mean to upset anyone.

I'm sure nobody is upset. I certainly am not, hope it didn't come off that way. I was just more concerned with getting all rosters set before tourney puck drop.

This USA situation is weird. Hopefully the dude makes the team so it is moot.

Lindholm and Drouin were left off the rosters (for now) in case they can't go. Makes life on poolies tough!

Everyone's rosters have been posted on the first page. Please check to make sure there aren't any errors.

It's an unfortunate situation with Lindholm/Grzelcyk not knowing their status, but there's no real good way to go about resolving the situation. I personally believe Grzelczyk will be on the US roster, but Lindholm is an unknown.

Did a quick tally after Day 1. Hopefully there are no errors but I'm not guaranteeing it.

xa123 - 13pts
Khabby - 12pts
vippe - 11pts
PensBandwagoner272 - 10pts
SH15 - 9pts
DropkickQuinn - 7pts
BillyShoe1721 - 5pts
topched - 4pts
bigbadbruins7 - 3pts
Shrimper - 1pt

Obviously still early and not all teams have played. Fun Day 1 though!

Nuge with 9 pool points alone for the leader!

I think I got 13 points actually. Maybe, If I did it correct

I'm thinking a Shutout should be rewarded more than 2 points... that is what a PP assist is worth for instance.. Why not 5?

I counted 4pts for Richard today. 2 assists, one even strength (1pt), one shorthanded (3pts)

Regardless, nice day for you for sure!

I only had Gibson playing today. He certainly delivered.

xa123 is leaving us in the dust Can only imagine if Nuge goes off tomorrow on the Slovaks.

Haha yeah today was a pretty good day for me

It's too bad Binnington isn't going to play tomorrow, I'll probably end up with no points in the goalie department.

Doesnt really matter.. I dont think goalies are awarded enough... a goalie could have a 1000 save effort and still get nothing but 2 points.
