Offensive Rookie of the Year

Who is going to be the Rookie of the Year this year. Not sure if there is only one for the NFL or one each for NFC and AFC offensive and defensive.

Anyways, who is your ROTY Offense for the league up unto now?

I never even thought of luck or rg3 for some reason

Luck would have been the choice

RGIII. Doug Martin and Alfred Morris are a distant 2nd and 3rd.

Andrew Luck is having the most overhyped rookie season since Mark Sanchez. I realize the Colts are the media darlings of the year, and I still believe Luck will have a great NFL career, but I'm not getting all the effusive praise for him. He's been okay for a rookie, that's it.

Way better than Sanchez did, not even close. Morris over Richardson?

If you've watched any of the Colts game today, you'd understand why. The kid spent all day running around and still managed to pull that team from the depths to win that game.

I never claimed otherwise. I said he's having the most overhyped rookie season since Sanchez in '09.

Richardson has made the Browns offence legit

I've also watched him look perplexed and ineffective against one of the worst pass defenses (Patriots) in the league.

I stand by my statement. He's had a decent rookie season, nothing more. He's shown lots of playmaking ability, but has also made lots of errors. Compare him to RGIII, who has shown the same (arguably better) playmaking acumen, has done it with a similar supporting cast, and most importantly has avoided making mistakes. For me, it's not even close.

Browns are bottom third in PPG, YPG and rush yards per game. How exactly is that legit?

I am going with Russell Wilson ,, Seahawks are well on way to playoffs and he is playing at elite level down stretch

I think he steals it with a few more big games

As much as I'm impressed with Martin, RG3 turned the pathetic Redskins in a legit team so my vote goes to him.

Gotta be Luck. 6 comeback wins in his rookie year... so far. RG3 has been very impressive, but Luck has all but secured his team a playoff spot and the Colts arguably have less talent around him than the Skins (they've got Morris having a great year). He's also been without his head coach for the majority of the year.

As it's for the best offensive rookie, I'll go with RGIII. If it were for most valuable offensive rookie, it'd be Luck.

If both players repeat their numbers to a T next season and are the clear cut two favorites for MVP, it'd be Luck winning it, beyond any question.

RGIII. He doesn't thrown it 50 times a game like Luck.
