He'll go hard at camp next year.
I hope you're right. Not worried anyway with Stolarz and Patterson presumably splitting the starts this year and next (if Stolarz doesn't make the A). Hope it works out for Herbst.

Looks like Leivo is gone to Kitchener. We need to land Trocheck before anyone else snags him. If the Kitchener rumour is true, them and OS have equally stacked teams on paper (although I still like our team's chances).

Graovac gone, Leivo probably gone, doubt Monahan moves unless we overpay.

At this point, it's going to be either Ritchie or Trocheck coming to London before the 10th IMO.

If Stolarz gets locked up we have a OA spot open, think Ross here maybe. And if they went that route they may try to package Trochek with him...prolly by Thursday we will know more.

Right, forgot OA rule.

Wo knows what Hunter does now, he has said he likes his present team with an eye towards next season as well. Stolarz is he signs is still young with few games at high level. he is prolly here 2 years so they are set at goal.

London could possibly do very little here on out.....freebies Stolarz , Mermis are nice additions.

Press Conference at 2:30

Noticed on the Knights board that there is a press conference at 2:30. We all know it's probably the Stolarz signing. Anyone know if London's finest will be airing this on radio somewhere?

If a radio sta does cover it its probly 1290 CJBK, or outside shot 980.

I gotta guess its the G. I Posted yesterday thst as of 6pm CJBK confirmed hed left school but as of then hadnt yet signed.

Mark probably not happy it got leaked ahead of signing, unless hed already talked to the players wholl be effected (read-- the kid now on the outside)

Gotta figure Mark is going to make a move of somekind here over the next day plus.
( 2 Fs please but at least one 2nd liner )
If its a done deal.
Bailie for a pick or part of package? Or released?
Pattterson on the move? I hope not and dont see it.
Herbst? health ?s
Still uncertainty of Jammes (and rumors of wanting to be closer to home- re Ott) for picks?
Too many young Fs (assets being buried) that wont crack this lineup or get significant minutes this year or next. IMO better to move a couple and get a vet presence now.
A decent cupboard of picks, thou not overwhemling.

If not the local news, or just watch this board (or the others). Word will be out before they turn on the mic

Yep, Kitchener and Owen Sound (and Windsor) have gotten considerably better over the last 24 hours. I'm not too worried, but the number of players on the market is declining fast. I like your 2 forward request, I have a feeling Hunter is going to pull a deal off that sends Ross and Trocheck here. The Knights have a 2nd rounder and 2 3rd rounders in 2013 to dangle. They also have 3 3rd rounders in 2014 also. Then 2016 is when London doesn't have a 2nd. So I'd say we're at least average on draft picks to trade which could be the difference in keeping a Welychka type vs trading him.

Oh I will, it would just be nice to hear the introduction, what the kid has to say, what the Hunters expect, etc.

We don't need Ross--have enough grit with the Rupes.
Ross is prone to taking dumb penalties as evidenced in the games he played at the JLC last year. You want another scorer, then go after one if the price is right.
I don't understand why Ross is on some people's wishlist.

Ross gives the Knights a over PPG player, something London only has 2 of. Decent size and speed, his discipline issues can easily be controlled by the Hunters. He'd be a great add with Trocheck. Imagine going up against Anderson, Ruperts, Ross, Horvat, Elie. Tough, skilled, and fast.

PP31 mentioned that a lil while ago.

IF true Id be

A) surprised Ply is selling
B) very happy if MArk grabs a player or two of their roster

Again, Im not holding my breath but I think Mark goes after an A list guy

I would be happy with Ross bank it. There is something to be said for steady guys who deliver.

Now do the Knihgts look to fill the OA spot or not worry bout an impact OA ala last year?

hhmmmm.

Spend away OS and Ktown, lets see its enough to get over the hump.
MArks going to add at least 1 F, no?

With the tenders in OS/Ktown and their recent adds, this conf PO could be a good one with any of 3 (as of now) teams having a good shot.

Man, Hunter is ruthless. Flat out cuts his number one goalie on a team with five losses.

Hasn't it become clear that he's no longer the #1? Patterson has been outplaying him for a while now.

Otto, Don't you think Engelage would have been cut by Windsor if they found a good goalie too in 09?

While that is true,Hunter really gambling unless there is another move to go with
2 rookie goalies, afterall Patterson played 6 games last yr and zero playoff games and Stolarz has yet to suit up
Not saying I dont like the goalies just surprised about going on without playoff experience thats all
