What a very homerish comment of you! I guess you missed the maulings in front of the net that Sarnia got away with in the first period. I am going to assume you are talking about Horvat running into the Sarnia player while off balance and then pushing the player over, was it interference? absolutely did it get called no it didn't, neither did the cross check on London in front of the Sarnia net ten seconds after the whistle a few mins later, these things happen, refs blow calls, what cost Sarnia was not getting over it and taking a penalty for unsportsman like for continuing to yap, no different than the player that gets penalized for a retalitory slash, while the first player goes unpunished, its part of the game. I hate when it happens to London but I dont go on the other teams fourm and tell them that a missed 2 minute penalty was the reason their team won a 60 minute game, and certainly don't go on to some other team's board thats not involved (Windsor) whining about it looking for support.

Good to see you being gracious in defeat.

As for the Welychka trade rumors, they kind of make me sad. He is a good foot soldier and a very versatile player. I'd hate to see him go regardless of the caliber of player we received in return.

Sarnia went 0 for 3. And London 2 for 4. On their PPs

Maybe you should thank the Sting PP, or lack of a PK for our win lol

Wow, what a finish. This team just knows how to win. Bo Horvat is just getting better and better. No way he doesn't get picked up in the first round.

No but simply adding a depth guy is smart.....> Ringuette is solid enough for the 3rd pairing. Take him and VT and you got your d depth and big forward...call it a day.

I don't see Brett Welychka going anywhere.

Knights have called a presser for 4:30 today...

My guess signing one of Broadhursts teammates last year Dakota Mermis.

A free D-man that can be around next season.

He's now 5-11 195. Only problem he's got an older brother there.

I almost feel bad for the Sting fans. I would be bitter too if I supported a team who let the great Mark Hunter come into their org and leave just as easily. Maybe if you still had him and not Jacques "I scream at every f'kn thing" Beaulieu you'd be getting help from the refs when you win too. It's tough losing, but you can't say with a straight face that London's too many men call was correct or the fake holding call on Ferry to finish off the 2nd period. If the refs truly wanted the Knights to win they would have called the Sting for the 8 players they had in the neutral zone with about 30 seconds to go and the constant tackling in front of the net. *Sheds tear*

An older brother that's going no where in the game. Dakota's best chance for advancement is in London.

Don't want to lose by questionable calls...don't put yourself in the position to lose by questionable calls

The Carnevale CFB penalty was legit..it was a penalty. Moore didn't have to be heard chirping the zebra but he was..it happens. Nice try though. Maybe picking up the trailing man on the 3rd goal woulda helped?...but what do I know.

Could it be ex-bulls draft pick Micheal McCarron has signed with the knights? If so its a win win for the knights and the bulls. You get a top US prospect that wasnt gona sign with us, and we get 3 2nd rounders for the future.

Thought of this as well...if it's McCarron it's HUGE for London. I'm thinking more along the lines of Mermis though.

As of right now I don't see McCarron fitting in.

Hey maybe they sign both.

McCarron wouldn't fit in right now but that doesn't matter. He would not be coming this year. He's in the USNTDP if I am correct and is a 17 year old while Mermis is an 18 year old at the University of Denver. Mermis could leave and come here right now but McCarron can't unless the Hunters fork over some coin. Either that or they announce they're bidding for the 2014 Memorial Cup.

That would be amazing, but I doubt McCarron would commit at this point. Didn't he just commit to WMU in the last month or so? Mermis would be a great pick-up, since the Knights wouldn't have to trade for a d-man. They could use all their assets to land Trocheck or Ritchie. I could see Trocheck ending up with the Sting though.

Stats aren't everything for a goalie. Are you trying to tell me Bailie is a good goalie. Look at his 1st 4 seasons in the league. The Knights play a solid defensive game which makes it easier for the goalies. They limit good quality scoring chances. Most of the Sting shots last night were from the outside and Patterson had a clear view.

Has London even developed a good NHL goalie? And you say Mason, he had one good season until the NHL realized he has a weak glove and he has done nothing since.

LOL You can ask the same of pretty much any OHL team. Other than Craig Anderson, is there even another starting goalie that came from the O?

No need for the presser now... it's everywhere

Looks like there is offensive side to him plus he willing to drop the gloves. 5 scraps last season.

Mermis is as good as done.

BREAKING: Ottawa 67's Bench boss Chris Byrne not on the bench today as he is "Away on a Scouting trip"

Keep an eye out for him at Budweiser Gardens tonight!
Person that spots him gets a high five!

I thought most of the rumours had 67s cutting a deal with London so some of the local London fans should keep an eye out for him cause this is really getting interesting as wherever he shows up you can bet that's a likely home for a big trade!
