How so?

Wilson was a 3rd round pick...Brady a 6th.

Wilson transferred to Wisconsin from NC ST...Brady spent his whole career at Michigan.

Wilson is a mobile quarterback...Brady is a pocket passer.

Wilson was named the starter for SEA his rookie year, on a team with no established QB...Brady was the 4th string QB his rookie year, and was the 2nd string QB the next, and replaced injured franchise QB Drew Bledsoe in Game 2.

Wilson led Wisconsin to the Rose Bowl, but lost...Brady led Michigan to the Citrus and Orange Bowls, and won.

I'm missing the whole "modern day Tom Brady" thang?

Let's see if he's doing that next week after facing a healhy Matt Ryan and a good corp of receivers as opposed to an injured RGIII, and an OK set of receivers.

Russell Wilson is awesome. Great guy I guess. An old teammate of mine in baseball was on his baseball team for years and told me he is exactly what he seems- humble, intelligent, and VERY talented.

His only knock against him was height, and he has shown that his size is not really a factor.

Just by the way he came in as a rookie and lead his team as a veteran, coming out of nowhere while the media was ballwashing Andrew Luck all season long, who btw really looked like Peyton Manning when he choked yesterday.

Oh man what a blow that would be for the Redskins and RG3's career already.

If that's true, Shannahan should be fired for being a completely inept coach.

Ever since his first game I knew he wouldn't last long in this league.

Protected as QBs are, if you're going to run and not slide, you're going to get hurt. Someone is going to nail you, and then dance about it. That's how football is, unfortunately. It's already happened multiple times to him and it seems he'll never learn. He's a hell of a player but I'm not sure how long he's going to hold up. Part of it is the coach's fault, but with that style of play you're taking a huge risk.

With respect to Sherman he was waving goodbye to the skins Trent Williams who just cheap shot punched him in the face at the end of the GM.

Id wave goodbye and flip him off at the same time.

actually, the original injury was an LCL, not PCL.... BUT remember ADRIAN Peterson, blew out his knee, and what happened? 2097 yds.

I think the Pats win this weekend. They won't blow them out like the 42-14 game earlier, but it still won't be close. I know the Texans are a run first team, but Schaub has ONE TD pass in last 23 quarters. That's horrible. Bill's going to make Schaub beat them, which I don't see happening.

Anyways, picks this week:

Pats over Houston
Baltimore over Denver in a close one
Seattle over Atlanta proving to everyone that ATL is still as fraud as they come, and probably getting Mike Smith fired too
Green Bay over SF

Baltimore was down 31-3 before the Broncos put their backups in, in the 4th quarter in Baltimore. In Denver, after the Broncos had a week to rest and get some starters back from injury? No way Baltimore can hang with them. Flacco is allergic to road games.

People are really overplaying Peyton Manning. He's playing outdoors, yes at home, but outdoors in Denver. Saturday weather in Denver looks to be 30 and snowing. That favors defense and running.

Let's also not forget Peyton is 1-4 after a playoffs bye, and has gone 1 and done SEVEN times.

Look I'm not a Flacco fan, but this is absolutely a game Baltimore can win.

Weather won't be a factor. Latest forecast for Saturday: Morning flurries or light snow. Done by kickoff. Turning partly cloudy midday. Light winds. Afternoon highs from 16 to 22 degrees.

Just what they've been playing in the last few games, when Manning broke out the gloves and actually played some of his best ball.

Different teams and circumstances. On none of those teams did he have a top 5 defense backing him up. And in many of those, he was rusty from basically sitting out the last week or two of the season and then the bye. There was no extra rest this time around.
