yes, any player(s) who like your offers will sign and you'll have to ice a team under the cap and stash who need be stashed. happened to me last year, luckily all my fa signings were depth and thus buried in the a.

not to worry so long as you only made 1 year deals...

there are a few nice pieces i hope no one else wants.

And so I guess first playable window, any resent UFA who ends up in the AHL is subject to some sort of waiver claim system?

Otherwise, there is nothing to prevent people form stocking their minors with NHL players.

Last year, I think this happened to you--but you didn't understand the way it worked, so it was fine.

But it should be clear to people by now, I think, and it would be nice if there were some scraps left for the rest of us to sign once the season starts and the ELC's get demoted.

yeah last year those of us who signed multiple nhlers made them available for a 7th, so a quasi-waivers system.

I actually told him that he was unsigned in a PM earlier today.

I assumed it was intentional.

I have $13 mill in cap space, but Cory Sarich disappeared off my roster ?

He was signed for the next 2 seasons, I have no idea what happened to him.

I feel like I offered entirely too many players contracts for entirely too much money. Yet I still feel I'm not going to get any of them...

Avalanche sent out some offers, hoping to make a splash in this free agency puddle.

Due to an accounting error, the and have adjusted their previous deal--dismissed twice by the powers that be at EA.

D. Stepan + J. Lehtivouri

for

R. J. Umberger, J. Lundmark (2015 7th overall), 2016 2nd (CBJ)

Confirmed. Willing to give up the 2nd for the play making abilities of Lehtivouri. His blend of high offensive awareness, shot power/accuracy, passing and play making abilities combined with a high body checking ability should make him an exciting player to watch while Murray and Morrissey continue to develop.

willing to sell low on Lehtivouri because this whole thing is probably my fault in the first place--and as a slight nod to the fact that the original deal was based on the assumption I was getting the 7th rather than the 3rd overall pick...

Anyway, hopefully this settles things. I'm not making any UFA offers. Once the deal clears, I'll see if I have any space left--but I think, if my math is right, I'm about $200k under the cap.

Lightning offers are in. Trying to fix what went wrong last year, where an injury to my top 4 defense left me playing someone who had no business handling those minutes. If all goes according to plan, I will have 6 defensemen and 10 forwards I will feel comfortable using in respective top 4 and top 6 minutes.

The wild will be very quiet this offseason other than the fact they have locked up Jared Spurgeon for 7 years, Kyle Wellwood for 4 Justin Falk for 3 and Joe Morrow for 8 years. The core of the team is locked up long term at reasonable rates and look out for this D-core now and in the future.

Hoping I get the players I made offers on. Stupid Greene and Antropov didn't feel like resigning I guess.
